There are international aid programs that help Irish women travel for abortions, providing $ for travel, lodging, etc. Still a hard journey for them in many cases, aid or not. Fuckin' "Handmaid's Tale" situation up there. /endofrant

O really... I was on a Shakira binge just a few nights ago :P She has a live album on spotify which is quite fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Fri. 4/8/16 4:54pm Dave in Vermont:

@Jake: There was a record store in Ledgewood which is where I think I got it, though it's possible I got it at the Rockaway Mall or the record store in Hackettstown (owned by a guy who DJd on WNTI, which is where I think Joe Belcok got his start).

@James: Atari so much cooler but Intellivision is what my dad bought me. Somehow I thought it was more elite; but really just less cool.
  Fri. 4/8/16 4:59pm mink:

Oh, btw.. this is probably ethically questionable but I found a spotify hack by accident. I cancelled my account.. but I still get the same service, because I listen thru firefox with an ad-blocker add-on, which blocks all the spotify ads! So.. that's good..

Oh, I don't think we meant THAT Kenny G, Jason.

Also, this was in the context of those who voluntarily choose to listen to WFMU. People who are involuntarily exposed to it, like the head of my lab where I was 30 yrs. ago and would say "Turn that shit off!" after I had WFMU playing for 20-30 mins. at a time are another matter entirely.

@RevRabbit I loved Ride when they were first around. I first saw them in a pub in Newcastle.
