	♥ 10:32pm coelacanth: those old phones were made well. most of the really old ones made of bake-a-lite would work fine still if people hadn't discarded them for the cheap crap that took over in the 70s, when the monopoly was abolished. they also sounded beautiful. that's a rare case of a monopoly i'd get behind. it sucked when that happened. quality of equipment and service plummeted and prices skyrocketed.
