peyton manning's unicorn, maybe.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Remember a mere couple of months ago when it seemed likely that Peyton Manning was finished? He's in Super Bowl 50 this Sunday. Gosh, huh?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Remember a mere couple of months ago when it seemed likely that Johnny Manziel might play for the Browns again? It seems likely they'll cut him now.
  6:07pm chalmers:

He can always return to the family business of fighting roosters.
Avatar 6:09pm BriJet:

Hello All!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Sounds like an excuse to meet and eat brownies and drink cider (maybe brats and beer, I suppose).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:12pm Kat in Chicago:

Caucus Talk isn't very sportsy but it's fascinating!
  6:13pm chalmers:

Next week, I want Therese to do a show asking why people are interested in the caucuses.
Avatar 6:13pm BriJet:

Feelin' the Bern over here!
Avatar 6:13pm glenn:

jesus. i'm surprised anybody wants to vote by the time the actual election rolls around.
  6:13pm Marcel M:

He is not 80
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:13pm Kat in Chicago:

Bernie's 74
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:19pm Kat in Chicago:

Wow, this is hugely sad.
Avatar 6:20pm drewo:

The most truthy team in sports talk radio.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:21pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Amazingly, Roger Staubach got a number of concussions, but is still, by all accounts, alert and successful in his old age. He'll turn 74 this Friday. That's bad news about Antwaan Randle El and the others, though.
Avatar 6:21pm glenn:

go lions!
Avatar 6:21pm glenn:

oh, and the n.f.l. is a criminal organization, from top to bottom.
Avatar 6:22pm Blunterson:

Antwaan Randle-el was the QB at Indiana University, and almost led his team to a bowl game
Avatar 6:23pm Blunterson:

He also threw a TD in the Super Bowl in one of the most obvious WR pass in NFL history. Fooled the Seahawks though...
Avatar 6:24pm BriJet:

Danne D!!!!
Avatar 6:24pm BriJet:

He always yells, LOL.
Avatar 6:26pm glenn:

no, arizona traded john scott to montreal, montreal shipped him to the east coast league. the whole story is an embarrassment, although scott comported himself well throughout the whole thing.
Avatar 6:26pm tonyb:

he's just an excitable boy.
Avatar 6:26pm glenn:

gary bettman is a douche of the highest order.
  6:28pm Danne D:

that was me with the curling tweet :)
Avatar 6:28pm Blunterson:

Check out some sweet Disc Golf videos at the CCDG youtube channel
Avatar 6:28pm dale:

curling isn't any stranger than 9 pin bowling
Avatar 6:29pm glenn:

there's an 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. curling league in my hood.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Some pictures of the disgusting waterways where some Olympic events will be held in Rio this summer: www.theguardian.com... Assuming the whole thing isn't cancelled due to the carnival of problems going on in Brazil.
Avatar 6:31pm dale:

yeah, but soccer players in europe probably sustain more head damage in the pub afterwards
Avatar 6:31pm BriJet:

I don't really care about football, but I do wanna see a certain fellow with the #18 win a freakin' Superbowl.
  6:31pm Listener Robert:

So we've got ANOTHER Sportsy Talk youth football coach? Awright!
Avatar 6:32pm dale:

this guy is defending the sport, yet admits he's got memory problems that may be attributable to using his head as a battering ram.
  6:32pm chalmers:

Initial concussive soccer injuries are almost always due to head/head or head/ground collisions, not contact with the ball.
Avatar 6:38pm BriJet:

Heeve ho
Avatar 6:38pm dale:

will people watch professional flag football?
Avatar 6:40pm glenn:

i. don't. care.

Avatar 6:41pm BriJet:

haha, I also don't care. I kinda like hockey and golf...
Avatar 6:42pm Blunterson:

No football February!!!
  6:44pm chalmers:

They used to call it Picture Day and then the great, taciturn Giant TE, Mark Bavaro bolted right after the pictures were taken. The NFL then changed it to Media Day so the players knew they had to talk to reporters.
Avatar 6:44pm dale:

i wonder if purina still makes monkey chow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm Ken From Hyde Park:

No one's mentioned Super Bowl commercials yet. Seems like in years past, it was a hot topic the weeks leading up to the game. Maybe the Iowa Caucuses have been taking up too much newstime this year.
Avatar 6:47pm drewo:

It's nanotechnology at work!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm Ken From Hyde Park:

It's battery powered. www.businessinsider.com...
  6:52pm Listener Robert:

I don't drink coffee either, just don't like the taste.
Avatar 6:53pm glenn:

really? the year of the monkey's been around a lot longer than black history month.
Avatar 6:56pm glenn:

this is why we have copyright lawyers.
Avatar 6:58pm dale:
