Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:09pm Jeff Golick:

It *ain't* easy, but the Nazario Scenario helps!
  12:10pm Nate K:

The Herd, nice! Frampton definitely "comes alive" on that one.
Avatar 12:11pm KP:

Good afternoon, Amanda.
  12:15pm P-90:

Keith Partridge was undeniably groovy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Amanda:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm Amanda:

Welcome, P-90, KP, sugarwolf, northguineahills, Ken from HP, and all! Hope you'll find this show to be a HOOT
  12:25pm sugarplum fairywolf:

I had to explain Woodsy Owl to a former coworker (MILLENNIALS AMIRITE???) but she did appreciate the give a hoot don't pollute slogan.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25pm Jeff Golick:

Always loved this Dylan number.
Avatar 12:25pm ndbob:

afternoon Amanda and everyone!
Avatar 12:29pm KP:

Saw bob open a jones beach show with that back when the bay was right in front of the stage
  12:33pm Nate K:

Is that Esther Phillips B-side a take on the Eddie Floyd song "I Never Found a Girl (To Love Me Like You Do)"?
  12:36pm P-90:

Roy O = always welcome
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm Amanda:

Yes, that's the one!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm Jeff Golick:

GET OUT OF MY HEAD, NAZ.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm Jeff Golick:

(NAZ = Nazario, not "Naz," btw.)
Avatar 12:48pm KP:

Hitting road. will try to tune in from there.bye
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:57pm Amanda:

I am usually telling Todd Rundgren and Nazz to get out of my head.
Avatar 1:04pm Hoboken Jack:

Why, no, I wasn't listening to the wrong stream for several minutes and wondering why the playlist didn't match up, what makes you think that?
  1:09pm Nate K:

Life Stinks = album of the year for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12pm Amanda:

@Hoboken Jack NEVER do that! I can't compete.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm Amanda:

IS ANYONE seeing S-K this weekend. I am going on Sunday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm Jeff Golick:

I was offered two tickets but couldn't come up with the scratch for S-K. :(((
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14pm Jeff Golick:

Has anyone read the Carrie Brownstein book?
Avatar 1:15pm northguineahills:

Yeah, I'm pretty scratchless. At least I've seen Sleater-Kinney before.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19pm listener james from westwood:

I have her book on interlibrary loan. Eager to read it on its own and in comparison w/ Kim Gordon's.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19pm Ken From Hyde Park:

If I were closer and if it fit my schedule, I'd love to go. Please give us a report next week.
  1:24pm Nate K:

I saw Sleater-Kinney play with Storm & Stress at a coffee shop in Pittsburgh in 1995. It was such an odd show. People in Pittsburgh were incredibly psyched for Storm & Stress (it was their first show, and Don Caballero ruled that town back then), and the room completely cleared out when they were done. I think Sleater-Kinney played to 9 people.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26pm Jeff Golick:

Always love it when Simpsons characters trip, whether on sugar or anything else.
  1:29pm Hackensack Slim:

"Whoa, that's good Squishy." as well as "Egghead likes his Booky Wook." Two of my all time favorite Simpson quotes.
  1:29pm Nate K:

I wonder if that heavy-handedness (which bothers me too) is a legal thing... so they just lay it on thick.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Jeff Golick:

Please give us a Hibbert laugh, Amanda?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm steve:

Egghead likes his book-y book! is such a classic line
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33pm Ken From Hyde Park:

They rip in the Crocodile Dundee scene. Hans Moleman: "You call that a knife?" and pulls out a big machete. It's so big, he tips over. "Uh oh! Down I go!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:39pm listener james from westwood:

New York, New York, it's a helluva town
The Bronx is up and the Battery's down
The mimes are food for the rats underground
New York, New York, it's a wonderful town!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm listener james from westwood:

(thank you, anonymous poster in alt.showbiz.gossip sometime in the Clinton Admin)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:41pm Jeff Golick:

ty!
  1:41pm P-90:

Brava, Diva!
  1:43pm Nate K:

It takes a minimum of 2 minutes to explain Communism to a child.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:50pm Amanda:

Well, if it isn't the leader of the weiner patrol!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:51pm KevinfromBayRidge:

Thanks for another wonderful 2 hrs, AN. Enjoy the cincert. Saw them at SummerStage(earlier) & Prospect Park(later).
  1:52pm Nate K:

This Mort Shuman song is absolutely fantastic.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:56pm listener james from westwood:

Thinking about it more, I guess Michaud might be a person, and not a cat.
