Hey Scott! were you at the RFTT gig? Whoa - cathartic!
  3:08pm wildneil:

This is nuts...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:10pm Scott Williams:

I missed it, V Priceless! heard great things - got some Ubu reisshery pulled today
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:15pm Grok-o-matic:

woah, killer, dark 60's sh*t. Kinda reminds me of Electric Prunes or Pretty Things or something.
  3:16pm bloopy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm steve:

im totally with Robert Loggia on this
  3:18pm Elias:

My sentiments exactly as I hobble around my apartment with a broken leg after being hit by a limo going 50 mph.
  3:18pm wildneil:

This show is like, the best of weird shit you find at a garage sale or Goodwill...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm cklequ:

Is it just me, or was that a fucking weird interview?
  3:31pm wildneil:

He/she worked with Warhol....so draw your own conclusions...
  3:31pm wildneil:

Yeah, WAY weird...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:31pm Grok-o-matic:

This Duplexx definitely sounds like some modular synth stuff right here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm cklequ:

I was thinking more about the questions....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Scott Williams:

it was a fucking GREAT interview! inscrutable, yes, and very revealing of a pretty unique indiv. RIP
  3:32pm rw:

I liked the line about, thank god they don't take transexuals in the military otherwise I'd be fighting in Vietnam.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:42pm common:

good day!
  3:45pm Clay:

Enjoying the program Scottie! Still sad about the loss of Scott Weiland of STP. A great performer, rock star, singer, writer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Ha ha! Cut the juice to that turntable motor!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm Scott Williams:

Hola, CP! yeah, I was never a fan, but it was very sad to watch him with hopes that he'd get thru somehow & survive, along with a sense of inevitability. kinda like Amy Winehouse, and tragically too many more
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:51pm Scott Williams:

's what I do best, Ken from HP!
Avatar 3:56pm Chris from DC:

Aw, yeah. Metronomic Underground
  3:58pm Benny P:

A little late to the party but THAT CLEAR LIGHT TRACKKKK! Excellent show Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm common:

love this one.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02pm Carmichael:

Great song, great album, great band! Hiya Scott and rockers.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:07pm Scott Williams:

Yo Benny and all buds!
Avatar 4:20pm SheWolf:

I want to know who the interviewer is too. Do you think you'll ever do Shakespeare? Genius.
Avatar 4:21pm Whosondephone:

Best sounding EAS test.
  4:22pm John:

That EBS Test didn't sound all that much different than the usual musical fare on FMU!
Avatar 4:24pm thedunkel:

great set this afternoon!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26pm Scott Williams:

Thanks thedunkel! good to see you eversobriefly on Sat
  4:29pm Dean:

Movie medieval, maybe. But not real medieval.
  4:29pm r i s k y:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29pm chris:

you're banging two coconuts together!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29pm Dave in Vermont:

That Psychic TV thing was great
Avatar 4:30pm Listener Aaron:

That really made my day. PTV and now this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:30pm steve:

i went to Mideival Times so many times as a young New Jersian. for some reason, the food there was my absolute favorite as a child.
  4:31pm Abrasax:

PTV reminded me of Bongwater's Ann Magnuson's dream diary lyircs, and the music too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm chris:

"go for the wenches, stay for the grog"
  4:31pm Dean:

This sounds medieval like Orff's "Carmina Burana" sounds medieval. Try, as an alternative, Rene Clemencic's consort's traversal.
  4:34pm Ochre Ogre:

Dead Can Dance for some great Medieval music.
  4:41pm Dean:

Dead Can Dance cover the hits, yes, but dip into Jordi Savall's several ensembles or Philip Pickett's--ignoring as you listen his heinous criminal sickness--or Clemencic's or etc.

Perhaps this is an appropriate moment to report my favorite recording of Christmas music of late: Orlando Consort's Medieval Christmas. Words cannot express...not even Latin ones.
Avatar 4:53pm TDK60:

Hey DJ Scott, sounds good. Nice talk Fabio had with Norman W. the other day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm common:

good title!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:59pm Bas NL:

How depressing to join in the party late and see how many greatness you already missed... Holy Archives again.. Hi Scott and all!
  5:04pm Pudge:

Thought it was Steve Miller for just a second there with the synth pulses. Jet Airliner!
  5:08pm Ike:

Sucking the brains of rats? That would require loads of hot sauce at the *very* least. Which hot sauce goes best w/rat brain?
  5:18pm BriJet:

Avatar 5:20pm Mdurek:

killer playlist thus far!
Avatar 5:21pm Mdurek:

I like those crushed beats. and some sweet bass lines. Been in car, dont' know which tracks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm Scott Williams:

Hiiii Brij! Thanks Mdurek! psyched to see you Sunday
Avatar 5:24pm Mdurek:

oh yes, me too!
  5:29pm Benny P:

definitely crystal hot sauce for rat brain.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:35pm steve:

Avatar 5:36pm Mdurek:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:37pm Scott Williams:

Thanks for working the show Steve! Sorry I missed it.
  5:39pm David:

That Pere Ubu sounds great. I was thinking that I could skip that remastering, when you were announcing, but this version really highlights the synthesizer and sounds way better than the Terminal Tower cd.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm Scott Williams:

yeah, the remastering here sound major! really punches, god it felt good blasting that in here
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm Mutant:

Oh why oh why haven't I received my copy of this Laddio LP yet?
Avatar 5:44pm Marcel M:

Scott! How dost thou fare?
  5:47pm Olive:

I love songs of Popeye!
Avatar 5:49pm V Priceless:

yay Ubu! RFTT show was insanely great! They did this, + '30 Seconds Over Tokyo', 'Sonic Reducer', etc. They opened with "Shape of Things To Come"!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm Scott Williams:

Marcel! you are a noble and chivalrous gent for merely the asking. Great to see you and Lady M and engage in parking lot mischief OF STEEL
Avatar 5:51pm V Priceless:

hmm...audio stream on web seems to be lagging..I'm just hearing Ubu now yet it was four songs ago on playlist...weird.
Avatar 5:51pm Marcel M:

Oh yes! You as well sire. We had wroth forged steel against a puny plastic cup! It stood no chance.
Avatar 5:52pm northguineahills:

Eric Feremans, new to me, any idea when this is from?
  5:55pm Message From The King:

Is anyone else thinking Whopper Junior? Right now, your neighborhood BK has special holiday incentive packages featuring the Whopper Jr., small fries, and soft drink of your choice (no Pepsi) for as little as $2.99. Isn't it time you came back the the King? Happy Holidays from Burger King and Ned Slater, Regional VP of Marketing.
