good evening.. just curious.. does wfmu have a wax cylinder phonograph in studio? or do you bring one in or record the wax cylinders and play mp3s?
Avatar 8:07pm bobdoesthings:

I imagine a wax cylinder record player is a sort of rare piece of equipment, no?
Avatar 8:08pm MAC:

I keep machine here in the studio. You are hearing records played on them. NO MP3S!

“Feh! Jazz! None of that music for my cylinders. There’s something un-holy about music that makes you move!”
Avatar 8:09pm bobdoesthings:

oh awesome. not sure if it was a dumb question.. In my mind they were very rare and antique and special.. that's awesome we're all really hearing 'em
