Gosh, good luck with your knee surgery, Bill. Overnight sensation Bill Mac had a leg-related injury a couple of years ago, didn't he?
Avatar    Sun. 8/30/15 3:41pm Bronwyn Bishop:

I love this dumb song
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 8/30/15 3:43pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

True. So dumb it's become undying Folk music.
Avatar    Sun. 8/30/15 3:44pm Bronwyn Bishop:

Everyone should check out the album "Rawhide's Clint Eastwood Sings Cowboy Favorites" for their own edification
     Sun. 8/30/15 3:45pm Listener Robert:

Best wishes on the knee, Mr. Kelly.

...I should collect my musings, & call it 'Bullets for an an Empty Chair' & dedicate it to Clint...

Left banke, nice!
Avatar    Sun. 8/30/15 4:08pm Bronwyn Bishop:

When this started I thought it was gonna be a cover of "I Should Have Known Better"
  Sun. 8/30/15 4:09pm noel:

Good luck with the surgery Bill. Some of us Scots have grannies from Donegal. And we like the original whisky from Eire too.
Avatar    Sun. 8/30/15 4:12pm JakeGould:

@KenFromHydePark: And Chris T is taking a hiatus to deal with foot surgery. Is there some common thread with radio and podiatry? Or just WFMU and podiatry?
  Sun. 8/30/15 4:14pm Al:

Good luck with the knee Bill. I have a bum shoulder that needs to be fixed. Come back better than ever to play more Real Rock & Roll.
Avatar    Sun. 8/30/15 4:16pm JakeGould:

@BillKelly: Best wishes to you and the surgery and a speedy, helpful recovery.
  Sun. 8/30/15 4:25pm Mark:

My friend just got pulled over, was driving faster during "I'm Only Guilty". Seriously!
  Sun. 8/30/15 4:27pm herb.nyc:

I heart Bill's knees. And...
     Sun. 8/30/15 4:27pm Listener Robert:

It's so easy. I once phoned in to a sub m.c. (forgot who, a lady IIRC) for 7SD on Xmas day. I'd drunk only 1 beer, yet I let a "shit" slip out. IIRC it made it to air.
  Sun. 8/30/15 4:49pm Al:

Small Faces - great British band hardly known in the thirteen colonies.
  Sun. 8/30/15 4:56pm Mark:

@Al...the colonies knew Small Faces. They had two hits here
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 8/30/15 4:59pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Steve Marriott's voice is just the stuff (& on into the great Humble Pie). SmallFaces, altho' perhaps considered the less aggro major Mod band (wull - the inestimable Kinks) to The Wh♂, actually did things LedZep copped. & - on subject of Itchcoo Park & such - they belied the notion that Mods & Acid didn't mix (SmallFaces apparently didn''t get that memo...& we calls it Freakbeat...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 8/30/15 5:01pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Thx Mr. Kelly !
  Sun. 8/30/15 6:34pm Gimpy DJ:

My left knee (meniscus) issues shouldn't keep me away from WFMU for more than one show, if at all.
  Mon. 8/31/15 7:58pm Al:

@Mark: Not as well-known here as they shoulda been, despite the two hits. Never as big as Beatles/Stones/Who/Kinks. I don't know if they ever toured in the colonies.
