Avatar 12:33pm Billy Jam:

previous show guest and frequent artist played on this show TEEKO was a close friend of SWIFT ROCK and has dedicated a new track to the recently deceased turntablist -with Diamond Ortiz - found on Explore.FM/Teeko - here is the insightful/touching words they said about SWIFT ROCK "The scene lost a real one on August 9th 2015. Not just the music scene. Not just the Bay music scene. Not just the DJ scene. Rather, the scene in general. Brian “Swift Rock” Lucas was more than just a talented musician. He was an amazing human being. He lit up rooms with his glowing smile and loving energy. Forever positive & forever the humble beast. Awarded in multiple turntable championships. Decorated with the love & respect from his peers, family & friends. I can personally tell you from the time I met him back in 2009 until now that he was ALWAYS in the highest of spirits. I had the pleasure of holding down the mic while he rocked the crowd multiple times. He ALWAYS brought it! He was FUNKY AS HELL!! He was a DJ’s DJ! He was a humble beast though like I said, as he also came with nothing but gratitude and respect for being involved with the scene. We were the lucky ones though. We were the ones holding the highest of gratitude & respect for him being involved period. He was an innovator with his craft. Earning the respect from all of your favorite DJ’s as they also looked up to him as well. He made an impact with all of us & we are forever grateful for it. Naturally, the bay being his home, all of us here are still trippin’ over this news hoping to wake up tomorrow and have it be all one big long ass nightmare. Yeah, there is mourning, but it’s not about how hard we mourn that will show the love we had for our brother. It’s about how we live from here on out. It’s about how we take what Swift Rock gave to us, meant to us & how he would be doing it to this day. It’s about honoring what he stood for & not looking back in mourning, but looking forward in celebrating his life each day with how we live. We love you brother. Rise in power & long live Swift Rock!"

Upon its completion the UK mixmaster commented, "What a strange mix this turned out to be...I was going to do an all hip hop beats from Nottingham..but then I had a creative beer or 4 while I was in the mix and discovered a party crate on my computer hahaha...so it just went a different way ..but still pretty cool."
