No. Please. Not “Orange Crush.”
  10:04pm JoshWPRB:

Did that dirtbag just swear??
Avatar 10:05pm slugluv1313:

@ onthetrain: scary bland homogenized Z100 stuff -- but people can be so uptight, like you are not "allowed" to play anything too loud -- even on a weekend afternoon!
so yeah, you can just imagine how much neighbors must love the "old geezers" like me who still blast the cool stuff :)
  10:06pm JoshWPRB:

I'm chilling in a hammock in a backyard, kicking it with some beers right now. Perfect soundtrack!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:09pm Hugh:

Hi Pat! You have the new Spanglish Fly? Great fresh boogaloo from NYC/Brooklyn.
Avatar 10:16pm BadGuyZero:

I didn't hear a non-FCC-friendly word(s) so I think it's safe to assume that you dumped it in time.
  10:16pm Hot Bar:

I daydream of times on wfmu that other radio stations are mentioned
  10:17pm Andy Stein’s Neighbor’s Roommate:

What’s happening?
  10:19pm JimmyfromKearny:

Avatar 10:41pm herb.nyc:

Avatar 10:42pm BadGuyZero:

Dr Pepper owns Snapple now. That's probably where things went awry.
Avatar 10:44pm BadGuyZero:

Start calling it Crapple.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45pm Tome:

Nutri sweet [ don't even get me started .. ]
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:45pm Tome:

hmm wonder what happen to that commercial .. blue bonnet is "better" than butter ..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:46pm Tome:

$11 for a pack of ciggies ,, should be the same for a 16 oz drink with ie. 40 grams of sugar too ..
  10:47pm jaackk:

But doesn't coca cola own dr pepper?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:49pm Tome:

.. can't help but think of the first SNL season now Dan Ak. doing commercials.. " it's a floor wax and a dessert topping .. "
Avatar 10:51pm Treavis:

"Snapple Tea with a Teaspoon of Honey"
Avatar 10:51pm BadGuyZero:

I worked at a sandwich shop in the 80s. For the sweet tea we would heat up water on a burner and add HUGE amounts of sugar. We then added that to unsweet tea to make sweet tea. Sugar mixes better with warm/hot water vs. cold/room temp water.
  10:51pm sugarwolf:

Green tea lemonade is great. I will have to try it your way next time!
Avatar 10:51pm BadGuyZero:

Coca Cola does not own Dr Pepper.
  10:55pm jaackk:

My mistake, although further research reveals that coca cola does own European dr pepper.
Avatar 11:02pm BadGuyZero:

Dr Pepper has been bottled by other cola companies in different parts of the country. I don't know how common that still is. Pepsi bottled it in the southeastern U.S. as of fifteen years ago.
  11:02pm kevin:

gold peak is close in sweetness to good snapple, right? I remember loving Joe Tea.
Avatar 11:03pm BadGuyZero:

I quit drinking Dr Pepper when they made the bottler in Dublin, TX stop bottling Dr Pepper. That plant used real sugar and the Dr Pepper bottled there was the best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:05pm steve:

hey Pat, a little late but wanted to say i had a great time at the anniversary show
  11:08pm JakeGould:

Snapple was great pre-1994 when they were still indie. Now they are a brand that has been bounced through a few different owners over the years.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:08pm Julie:

cherry dr pepper now that is a rare treat.
  11:11pm cheri:

Julie, do you like diet coke? cause I do.
  11:12pm cheri:

I LIVE on on diet coke!

A few months ago I bought a Sodastream so I could make all the fizzy water I want. I've never used their syrups so I have no idea if they're any good. I add one of two teaspoons of lime or lemon juice to the fizzy water I make.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm Julie:

Ooh I want a soda stream
  11:27pm JakeGould:

I want a Manhattan Special pond.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28pm Pat Byrne:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49pm Julie:

  11:49pm JimmyfromKearny:

Outstanding Little Steven Pat! Thank you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49pm sugarwolf:

oh, that is sad
  11:56pm JakeGould:

@Julie: “It's an entire box of mac and cheese and he eats it in a pot, over the sink with a spatula.” In a VAN down by the RIVER!
  11:58pm JakeGould:

Does Jersey City have a river? Or is it just a sad gutter drain filled with tears.
Avatar 11:59pm slugluv1313:

Hudson River -- one of the SADDEST
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:59pm sugarwolf:
