The Ramones are the Wheaties of rock 'n' roll.
  Sun. 8/9/15 8:04am Will:

I wonder what the 6 Alice albums worth owning are? Can we opinionate wildly? Love it to the Death at the top and then the two LPs after it...and then what?
  Sun. 8/9/15 8:07am Don juan:

Avatar Sun. 8/9/15 8:10am JohnEBGood:

Needles and Pins. I thought it was Sonny Bono?
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 8/9/15 8:15am Nate K:

Will, IMHO the first 6 are essential. I like Billion Dollar Babies, I love Easy Action, too. That's just my opinion, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 8/9/15 8:16am Nate K:

@JohnE you are totally right! Ugh! Brain lapse. Jackie sang it, though.
Avatar Sun. 8/9/15 8:20am Todd-o-phonic:

MAYHEM IN THE A.M.! Just the way I like it!
  Sun. 8/9/15 8:21am Will:

More opinions! In 1971 Robert Christgau gave HOUSE ON THE HILL a "C" grade, with his usual anti-snoot putdown of anything that resembled what later became known as prog rock. All 4 Audience records are great, and the last album LUNCH has some jaw droppingly superb songs ("Buy Me an Island"!) plus an enchanced horn section (Bobby Keys, Jim Price) that really roared.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 8/9/15 8:25am Nate K:

Hey, Todd!
Avatar Sun. 8/9/15 8:28am Todd-o-phonic:

Alka-Selzer should have turned Helga Selzer into a commercial!
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 8/9/15 8:53am fred:

That was a great SY cover! Is the whole record that good?
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sun. 8/9/15 8:55am Frank Above:

Ah, I love the sound of Gorilla Chief in the morning.
Avatar Swag For Life Member    Sun. 8/9/15 8:55am Nate K:

@Fred It's pretty solid all over from what I've heard, but diverse, too.
