Avatar 7:05pm Jeff:

"and a half."
Avatar 7:05pm Callieflower:

I turn 33 in exactly a month. I'm glad I'm three years away from having dealt with that 30th birthday. That was junk
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07pm i k e:

I've got a significant birthday coming up in just a few hours. I can only *WISH* it was merely 30. Somebody please reassure me that the arbitrary human need to mark the passage of time is a load of bollocks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08pm common:

just had a bday. still drinkin beer and makin art and playing music. do it till you die! whatever it is. sorry. feel like a hippy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Happy half birthday. I enjoyed my 30th birthday. It was fun and I had no trauma over being 30.
Avatar 7:12pm Jeff:

And nobody knows she's a serial killer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm Ĩkє:

Woah, guys, I'm totally lost here. Is this a fictional character? Does she have a name?
  7:14pm P-90:

She "twirls" her laundry soap, even.
  7:15pm jeff-m:

Not much diff that the imaginary man I beat myself up with now that I'm 40. Maybe they're married to each other...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Change "she" for "he" and you're basically describing me. Remarkable!
Avatar 7:16pm Callieflower:

I'm going to stab her and steal Jim
  7:17pm P-90:

Can I get her number?
  7:19pm NJ Liz:

The media's portrayal of women imposes an impossible standard
Avatar 7:19pm Ange:

Deficit identity. Love this term.
  7:23pm The WFMU Weirdos:

Thanks! Right back atcha, Kid!
  7:25pm The WFMU Weirdos:

"digentic". Oy.
Avatar 7:28pm Jeff:

My mom would always give me a puzzled, kind of sad look, and suggest again (as if I hadn't been listening the other times) that I might meet some nice people if I went to church.
  7:34pm Older sister:

Marriage is a place where lots of people go to hide. Ange and Holly shouldn't worry about doing what the masses do.
  7:36pm JakeGould:

When my parents passed away within 6 months of each other when I was in my mid 20s and my older siblings suddenly became more and more hard to deal with thanks to their born-again Judaism I decided date/age based deadlines for “doing things” were ridiculous. My life has just been so unusual structurally since the day I was born that the idea that I should achieve X-goal by Y-age is an idea I cannot function with.

I’ve met tons of late life successes and people who “achieved” goals in early life who are miserable to understand that dates, ages and deadlines are bullshit. You have to live your own life and not worry even when you do worry if that makes sense?
Avatar 7:39pm Callieflower:

Andrea is ridiculously tiny
  7:40pm JakeGould:

@Callieflower: But she’s not a member of the “Lollipop Guild.”
Avatar 7:44pm Callieflower:

I'm currently rural, you guys!
  7:47pm LuLu:

Holy cow. What a ugh
  7:47pm LuLu:

You not become him by not saying that to anyone
  7:48pm JakeGould:

“You’ll understand one day when you have a nice couch.” Oh dear, what douchey thing to say. And if you buy a couch, give it a lifespan… And it 3 years toss it… $500 max, 3 years and it’s gone. Amortize that couch.
Avatar 7:48pm Jeff:

Good general rule: try not to be a dick who makes people uncomfortable.
  7:50pm JakeGould:

The rules: Don’t be a douche. Respect boundaries. Respect people. Know yourself. Be yourself.
  7:51pm SeanG:

I would have dumped my whole beer all over that couch.
Avatar 7:51pm Callieflower:

"I'm going to beds, honey"
  7:52pm NJ Liz:

My mother told me that real adults have HBO. I told her that I must be a 30 year old baby.
  7:54pm JakeGould:

What about filling the living room with hammocks?
  7:55pm El Nino:

Are the live shows going to be a trend in the future? I have questions I'd live to ask the both of you, but as a twenty-something I felt out-of-place calling in today
  7:56pm Tcookzie:

That couch guy is a comedy sketch in its own right
  7:57pm JakeGould:

@Tcookzie: “Jerry! Don’t make me go to the couch guy’s place by myself! I… I… Just want to spill. And I’m not going with George!”
  7:59pm NJ Liz:

Andrea and Holly were so good together. Great job today.
  8:00pm Tcookzie:

@JakeGould: *fills up cup* "whoa whoa whoa, waddya doin there?" "what do you mean?" "you surpassed the liquid/rim thresh hold, bro. See at our place, we require 3/4 of an inch between the rim and the liquid"
  8:00pm JakeGould:

Enjoyed this show today. Kudos!
  8:00pm JakeGould:

@Tcookzie: “When you fill you don’t want to spill!”
  8:03pm JakeGould:

@Tcookzie: Better! “When you fill at Phil’s you don’t want to spill! Just chill!”
