i look like a skeleton with a beard.
Avatar 7:13pm Jeff:

News flash: lots of dudes will click on the article which says that their sloppy ass is somehow still attractive.

Another news flash: old dudes making editorial choices in newsrooms will also gravitate toward this "story".
Avatar 7:20pm Jeff:

Is Holly Wood putting straw wrappers in a guy's bun comparable to the way the Prime Minister of New Zealand can't resist grabbing women's ponytails?

(Answer: no, not really.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22pm chris:

my dad bod feels like me. its genetics, man. yeah, fashion doesn't always fit, but whatevs. happy it didn't prevent me from marrying the woman i love.
Avatar 7:26pm Heyjoletsgo:

Hey Andrea, give out the number again =)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm coelacanth:

i used to like dating. it was fun and exciting; but i've chosen to close that department- indefinitely.
...and i'm getting older and losing my options (though i don't think i have a dadbod),but i don't seem to care.
Avatar 7:30pm Jeff:

Often if some seemingly-small detail completely drives you away, it's because it resonates unpleasantly with a memory of someone you've known before and had trouble with.

It might be unfair, or it might actually be close to prescience. One of the things you learn over time is recognizing personality traits which are likely to lead to a relationship train wreck - and yes, clues might often be in small-seeming matters of personal style which nonetheless give an insight into how the person thinks (or maybe doesn't, so much).

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm coelacanth:

most really smart people i've met are really stupid!
  7:32pm Ken T:

I'm more dadbod than bored Andrea ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:32pm Ken From Hyde Park:

That's quite the Catch-22. Not good at talking and not likely to get a chance to practice talking.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm chris:

I only drink on days that end in 'y'

Yeah I had a couple of seemingly promising dates recently but had a lot of trouble gauging my own flirtatiousness. Prob. went too conservative. Oh and SMALL of back, HELL no.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Going to a movie on a first date: good plan or not? I suppose it depends on the personalities involved. I get bored with movies, so it wouldn't work well for me.
  7:40pm Callie:

I've weirdly experienced both sides, and I know I was encouraged to date more traditionally attractive people before transitioning than after. Now society isn't telling me that I'm as "entitled" to or should expect the same types of bodies. So that's weird to experience.
  7:42pm Callie:

I totally encourage the koalafications line
  7:43pm Gwen:

Being trans can feel like a HUGE handicap.
  7:46pm Callie:

A handicap and an incentive to harm us. Annoying AND scary
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm Nick the Bard:

There's no Johnny Polatta working here... (phone call I had to screen O.o )
Avatar 7:55pm Ryab:

This is a really good show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Agreed, Ryab. Quite good.
  8:01pm SeanG:

I've seen all the Gilmore Girls episodes
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:02pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Melba toast just left on the ground would have probably been OK. Ants & pigeons would eat it up. If it were plastic wrappers you had dropped, that's something you'd definitely want to pick up.
