You see a blanket on the ground. It's your favorite color, smooth and soft. You can sit on it, or lie on it. It's a flying blanket, and you are the pilot. You are in control. You can fly anywhere you wish, just by thinking about it. You are the pilot.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:21pm BDR:

I suspect this SW+SunnO))) in your personal rotation past few months as much as anything else.

Hey all, I miss the days of the minstrels singing all manner of requests integral to my personal dignity
  9:22pm P-90:

Hey DJ Dan and all!
Re: a recent discussion on Comments, what was the specific inspiration for the name of your show, @Dan?
Avatar 9:23pm Dan Bodah:

Don DeLillo's White Noise
  9:24pm P-90:

Thanks, that's what was suggested. Haven't read it yet myself.

Airborne Event w/ Dan Bodah !!
...since this is called 'Lullaby', I will use it for just that...
Avatar 9:25pm derbridge world wide:

I feel soused
  9:25pm JakeGould:

I feel February. And SuperMoon.
  9:26pm Robert:

This guy sings a lot like Khaury.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26pm coelacanth:

olá Dan and fearless flyers
  9:27pm Robert:

Darn, I was 1 behind on the playlist, and posted, this Lullaby sounds a lot like Khaury! LOL
Avatar 9:28pm Dan Bodah:

@P-90, great book. There's a chapter called Airborne Toxic Event in which a gaseous leak from a chemical factory requires the family to evacuate, though they are unsure where the event is and whether they are avoiding it or going toward it. Since starting the show, a band has taken that chapter name for their group. I took out the "toxic" because it restricts the meaning too much for my purposes.
  9:28pm jon:

good to hear you back on the air dan. good evening all
Avatar 9:28pm Dan Bodah:

I think Tiny Tim & Scott Walker sound noticably similar...
  9:31pm jon:

this puts a bustle in my hedgerow
  9:32pm Robert:

You got what I meant, right? I'd confused his singing with the song before. Does Scott Walker have that, I don't know what to call it, Tiny Tim's sort of breathy/throaty vibrato?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:33pm Blacktooth:

Scott Walker - "The Girls And The Dogs" is a really great song...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:34pm Blacktooth:

Total schmaltz....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:42pm Blacktooth:

Molam Thai groove makes it way to Brooklyn via Sun City Girls leg-work from 20 years ago. Not trying to be shitty, I can respect that.
