  3:20am Hel:

Good evening Matt et al. Lovin' the doomy stoner vibe, thanks.
Avatar 3:32am Billy Jam:

Congratulations on your tenth episode of Garbage Time with Matt Warwick and thanks for having me do this live remote mix - which kills two birds with one stone - allows me to do a guest set on your great show, and simultaneously allows me to test out my new remote gear for upcoming WFMU remote broadcasts from Cali and UK….this mix includes bits of "Garbage Man"- Ike Turner Presents The Family Vibes (your theme) + "Eat My Garbage 2" by El-P + "Alley Full Of Trash And Bottles" by Otis Smith + "Fresh New Trash" by Doomtree + The Cramps
  3:38am JakeGould:

Hello! Up late working—don’t ask—but happy to hear this. Great stuff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40am Matt ww:

Thanks Billy! I have NO idea how to follow that greatness so here's velvet underground
Avatar 3:40am Billy Jam:

thank you Matt......hey that's a dead dog over there....ewww
  3:41am Hel:

Sounds great from here,on my comp w/ headphones. Love this tune, Monster Magnet did a great cover too
Avatar 3:49am Billy Jam:

This is a good song Matt....thanks for feedback Hel...hey JakeGould - like your personal statement - It pays to keep an open mind, but not so open your brains fall out.
  3:55am JakeGould:

Thanks Billy Jam! Carl Sagan quote. That guy… I wish I knew him… But I just changed that to , “Life is short, and art long; the crisis fleeting; experience perilous, and decision difficult.” which is the translation of “Ars longa, vita brevis…” Gotta be consistent across social media.
  3:55am JakeGould:

What videogame is this bed music from? ToeJam and Earl?
Avatar 3:58am Billy Jam:

my pleasure - thank YOU Matt
  4:00am JakeGould:

I like this episode. How’s Matt gonna get out of this one.
  4:02am Hel:

It's so cool the way the garbage men go airborn off the back of the trucks here like the Flying Wallendas
  4:07am JakeGould:

“Men at Work” (Garbage Man Movie): www.youtube.com...
  4:10am JakeGould:

“Badlands” (Psycho Martin Sheen is a garbage man at the start of the film): www.youtube.com...
  4:12am JakeGould:

Whoa! Just realized thanks to that clip posting: Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen both played garbage men in film.
  4:17am Hel:

Lol@Jake, this reminds me of some ancient history. Years ago, saw Charlie walking south on CPW in pajamas in broad daylight.
Avatar 4:23am pierre:

Bonjour Matt ww, and bonjour garbage people
  4:24am Hel:

I didn't dare say a word because he had this intense look on his face like he was on some kind of "mission". Doubt he remembers it but I'll never forget it. He's a brilliant comedian imho. Bonjour Pierre, ca va bien?
Avatar 4:25am Billy Jam:

bonjour pierre le garbage.......back in the day they (record industry) They had a campaign directed at radio DJs who didnt mention names of songs played "If You Play It Say It" stickers on records sent to radio stations (commerical ones) In this case (Fuck Buttons) it would be If you play it dont say it....:)
Avatar 4:29am bibi:

bonjour les déchets !
haa, cornelius sound is so recognizable...
  4:30am JakeGould:

“If You Play It Say It” yeah, I remember that. Late 1980s and early 1990s. For some reason Warner Brothers releases come to mind with that phrase.
Avatar 4:31am Billy Jam:

good memory JakeGould....that is who (for some reason) I think of too...little round stickers on top right corner of LPs....Man I bet the big labels would love to go back in time to when that and home-taping was their main worry :)
Avatar 4:33am Billy Jam:

"Ze Best Show with Tom Schlammpeitziger"

Avatar 4:38am pierre:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42am Matt ww:

Zero Pizzas. :(
Avatar 4:49am Billy Jam:

oh man there some half eaten pizza at the dump - still in the box - that with a bit of dusting off and reheating in the microwave might have been not too bad at all.... Am leaving the dump now so will not be able to tune into rest of your show Matt - really enjoyed all your music and the diversity of it too...thanks again for having me on for live remote set....see u Friday @ FMU
Avatar 4:52am pierre:

Merci Billy
  5:06am ?:

i was listening to this in a half consious state so was hearing it permeate my dreams and envisioned your show as a tv show where a major tv show host was telling stories.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12am Matt ww:

Well that's amazing
  5:20am ?:

yea i was asleep and your show pretty much was my dream, so thank you
  5:53am Mark:

I read once that Jimmy Page asked Terry Reid to be the lead singer of a new group he was forming and Terry turned him down. So he got an unknown singer from the north of England named Robert Plant instead.
Avatar 5:57am the Canterbury wood-elf:

Thanks for the tunes, Matt. The Föllakzoid totally made my day.
  5:59am Hel:

Thanks Matt, the LZ always brings back good memories.
Avatar 10:51am Chris M.:
