Hiya, Todd. No slump! No slump! NO slump!
But I did hear last week's show was an 11, so, there's that.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:02pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

'Do I Love You?' nicely covered by Flamin' Groovies of course.
Avatar 3:03pm Lopez:

A steady Todd-o-phonic gig? Excellent!
Avatar 3:04pm Joe B:

GO TODD! Sophomoric slump perhaps!
  3:04pm ashley morey:

  3:04pm Brez:

"Do not change that dial." Huh. What's a "dial"?
Avatar 3:05pm Sem Chumbo:

@Brez: it was once a kind of soap, I read.
Avatar 3:05pm Debbie D.:

The same old thing we did last week.
  3:06pm Brez:

Oh, thanks Sem Ch. Our Todd-O's clean!
Avatar 3:07pm ken in denver:

Michael Shelley, Rex, Todd-O-Phonic Todd? Pow, pow, pow!
  3:11pm V Priceless:

Hi TOPT!! Alice!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:13pm fred:

People Like Us brought me to the Ronettes. Maybe that's why "I wish I never saw the sunshine" is one of my fave songs ever. It's a rare thing when I like the original even more than what Vicki did with it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14pm SeanG:

  3:15pm Brez:

Debbie's birthday? Hey, happy HAPPY birthday, DD!
Avatar 3:15pm Debbie D.:

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!! Thanks, T!!
Avatar 3:16pm Sem Chumbo:

@fred: from the previous hour: no, 85,000 words in and changing direction all the time. *l*
Avatar 3:19pm Joe B:

I get the message - Todd o Phonic is here to stay!
Avatar 3:19pm On the Yazoo:

Avatar 3:28pm Sem Chumbo:

Go, Todd, GO!
  3:30pm Cubicle Carl:

Right channel must be out shopping
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm fred:

I'll suggest People Like Us' Eve Of Sunshine for that set
  3:32pm echardcore:

Darnit! Started troubleshooting my system! That pesky right channel.
Avatar 3:33pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Sorry folks, that is what I get for trying Turntable 3. It never works. Won't happen again!
  3:36pm geokopp:

Looking forward to the big interview with Ronnie, Todd! So cool.
  3:36pm echardcore:

Apology accepted. Quality post.

Avatar 4:05pm Sem Chumbo:

Ok, just terrific, Todd.
  4:06pm Listener Jumpy:

The Split Squad gig Wednesday found them taking a crack at "You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory." That's Keith Streng and Eddie Munoz.
Avatar 4:07pm Joe B:

Avatar 4:18pm Victrola Tom:

If I could time travel, I'd just go back a couple of weeks and see Nude Beach.
Avatar 4:19pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

A good choice, but perhaps not the ultimate use of a Wayback Machine.
  4:20pm Mark:

See? Rod Steward didn't always suck donkey dicks. This is a great Faces collection. Even though it's been out about 15 years, I just picked it up, and I've been playing it a lot.
  4:21pm Mark:

Stewart I mean! Todd, you run a nice joint. I love all the background info you give us. You're clearly in your element here.
Avatar 4:22pm Clay:

Alice and Waylon ... great playlist!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24pm fred:

This time travel thing came up on Billy Jam's show too. They wanted to go back to 1990, with a stop in 1993. I don't get it. I's rather travel to the future, hear the music I'll never hear otherwise
  4:26pm Mark:

I don't know--Jimi at Monterey would be pretty bitchin'...or maybe like 1947. Take in a Giants game at the Polo Grounds, then go out to see Bird & Diz that night. That's a nice NY day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Great stuff, Todd!
Avatar 4:30pm Bad Krampus Zero:

Hang up and try that call again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31pm fred:

But if I had a time machine stuck to the past, I'd go see The Clash
  4:32pm Listener Jumpy:

Sometimes, I wish I had a time machine...
Avatar 4:35pm ndbob:

afternoon Todd and everyone!
  4:37pm Bluesman:

I keep two copies of that Christmas LP on hand at all times!
  4:37pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Oh this is great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42pm SeanG:

if I had a time machine I'd go to Aldo's and hang with Jonesy and X. Ray Burns--hahahaha
Avatar 4:42pm Joe B:

Awesome job TOT. Ronnie & Joey brought that Thunders tune into the nation's conscience!
Avatar 4:48pm Joe B:

√Čtude in Black!
Avatar 4:49pm Joe B:

Robert Culp a three-time Columbo bad guy!
Avatar 4:50pm Sem Chumbo:

Really good time listening, Todd. Thanks.
Avatar 4:51pm ndbob:

nice interview Todd!
Avatar 4:52pm Joe B:

amazing job. The greatest.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:53pm fred:

Thanks again Todd, this was great (though I still miss Keili)
  4:54pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

That was great!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:00pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Phil Spector's Xmas Album is *thee* best Xmas Music there is.
- Geez - just props for not being starstruck on the interview, from where I'm standing!
...Miss Keili & the unique fresh thang she brought - a genuine loss, but always said Todd was flawless (he's a lot more like TerreT, sort of - who was in this slot before making room for Keili): it's not one against the other (not about just the timeslot) - that is not the point.
- I wonder how much it would cost to fill up the Drummer stream schedule (since it's on 24/7 anyhow).
  5:01pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Thanks honey!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm fred:

@RRN63: I didn't mean that as a diss, just a way to tell Keili she's not forgotten
  5:11pm JohnEBGood:

Diggin' your show here in the Jersey Pinelands. We lost Tom, Terre , Monica, and Pseu. You stepped up to the plate big time as always. Truly grateful for your time, talent and commitment this Thanksgiving weekend.
Avatar 5:13pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

Thanks a lot! I appreciate all the commenters and listeners!
Avatar 5:22pm JohnEBGood:

Jack Cassady was awesome on Columbo. I believe he also was a three time player. Cassady or Culp? I'll go with Culp.
Avatar 5:29pm David Shortell:

Jefferson Airplane's bass player was on Columbo?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm Wendy del Formaggio:

Just tuning in, up in Der Hinterlands of Vermont. Looks like a great show, so far. Looking forward to the rest! And no, I'm not knitting...
Avatar 5:37pm Irwin:

TODD-O-PHONIC SPEAKS TRUTH TO POWER! Byrne's a notorious bully. He deserves nothing less than a skipping record.
  5:37pm Kathy:

Avatar 5:37pm Sem Chumbo:

Walk like a man who sings in falsetto. Take that, Pat!
  5:38pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Haha @Irwin.
  5:40pm ?:

fantastic show---yer Buffalo pals!!!! Todd is this generation's Edward R Murrow!!!!
  5:41pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

Avatar 5:44pm Victrola Tom:

A monster set if I do say so myself.
  5:52pm Koob:

Great track!!!
Avatar 5:54pm Joe B:

This show is so great Little Steven will be assigning an intern to monitor it the way he does for other FMU shows!
  5:56pm Mark:

That Mink Deville track is one of the best performances I've ever heard in my life. For a minute there I thought it was Van Morrison. The live Velvets was major, too--good-sounding recording for a live track. And Alejandro is kick-ass, too! Let me join the chorus: great, GREAT show!
Avatar 5:58pm Todd-o-phonic Todd:

I hadn't heard that track in years and was stunned all over again...thanks again everyone!
  6:01pm Sissophonic Cheryl:

@Joe B, if that's true, I might be taking over more of the programming. :)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:02pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Thx Mr.T !
  1:13pm RobbieWhite:

Todd, your girl group set was quite impressive. Thank you.
  2:55pm marygidge:

TOPT and Ronnie back together again. love it. So many TOPT archives to look forward to.
