  3:11am zclauterbach:

morning Jeff. I remembered your new schedule time this week..good to be listening live.
Avatar 3:12am Jeff Conklin:

Morning, Zach. Glad to have you
  3:18am mauri:

Morning Jeff. These songs sooth my morning. Good.
Avatar 3:20am Mugsy:

My first visit to the Avant Ghetto. Hello Jeff Conklin and all on the board.
  3:23am abra:

hey hey
  3:24am rw:

Hello Jeff Conklin and all here. Congratulations Jeff on securing a regular time slot! At this hour I will be only a semi-regular listener and probably only for the first few minutes... But I do regularly listen to the archive while sitting in traffic (which seems to be getting worse this time of year). Not like listening live though. Don't know what it is about live...
  3:26am rw:

Thanks for the Palmer memorial. RIP.
Avatar 3:27am Jeff Conklin:

Welcome, Mugsy! Grab a cup of something and settle in. Hiya, abra!

I'll take yr listenership in any time/space, rw, thanks!
  3:32am zclauterbach:

nice rag lore jam. haven't heard this one before, but really dig their cabin floor esoterica tape from earlier this year.
Avatar 3:34am Jeff Conklin:

The Rag Lore project is pretty new to me, Matthew recently got in touch and sent me this tape and that real nice one he did for Cabin Floor Esoterica--a mighty fine label!
Avatar 3:35am Mugsy:

Is this still Rag Lore? I like this very much.
Avatar 3:36am Jeff Conklin:

I agree, rw, live radio is the best but we make do with the time we have, don't we? Some of my favorite radio programs are impossible for me to catch live if I'm employed.

Yes, Mugsy, it is! A nice long piece so I can collect myself and finish my third cup of coffee of the morning!
  3:40am zclauterbach:

a fine label indeed! lookin forward to hala strana boxed set. also, good reminder that I need to look deeper into rag lore's back catalogue.
Avatar 3:41am Sem Chumbo:

Good morning, Jeff, and all. What a find this Rag Lore is!
  3:42am abra:

this is nice
Avatar 3:44am Jeff Conklin:

Morning, Sem. What's happening
Avatar 3:53am Sem Chumbo:

Jeff, here 'cause I dig what you're doing. Your show is a fine soundtrack to my work this time of the day, and is the basis of a "I gotta know more about THIS" list:-D
Avatar 3:55am Jeff Conklin:

Whoah, glad to be of service, Sem.
  4:23am Mark:

A little late to the party here but Toshi Ichiyanagi et al were AMAZING! I'll look for that one!
Avatar 4:26am Jeff Conklin:

Hey, Mark. Thanks for checking in. Reissue of that one can be gripped fairly cheaply.
Avatar 4:42am Mugsy:

Right there with you this morning Mr. Conklin.
Avatar 4:46am Sem Chumbo:

Whoa, now that was a trip. I would have heard that...no where else but here.
Avatar 5:19am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...still in bed this hour, but tuned in & appreciating this great program as always...
Avatar 5:22am Eiderdown:

Morning Jeff! Sorry to have missed the Clive Palmer tribute...
Avatar 5:26am Mugsy:

Breakfast with the wife, I will be leaving the board but listening. Congrats on the gig. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Avatar 5:27am Jeff Conklin:

Hey RRN! Nice "meeting" you, Mugsy. Hope to see you around here again!

Morning, Adam. Our archives are beautiful!
Avatar 5:30am Sem Chumbo:

Getting behind this down-shift, genre-wise. Singing along. Nice.
  5:32am Mark:

Hey don't look now but it says we're going to get 6-10" of snow Thanksgiving morning--WTF?!
Avatar 5:34am Jeff Conklin:

Where, Mark?!?!?
Avatar 5:35am Sem Chumbo:

FYI: with maps www.zerohedge.com...
  5:39am Mark:

Winter Storm Watch for lower Hudson Valley and northern New Jersey from 9 am Wednesday-9am Thursday: Rain turning to snow overnight. Glad I'm only going from Montclair to Maplewood.
Avatar 5:40am pierre:

Bonjour Radio Friend(s) !
Bonjour WFMU !

How is everyone doing ?
  5:42am the Canterbury wood-elf:

Greetings, Jeff, Pierre and all. I'm doing exceptionally well, still buzzing from having seen the first Henry Cow (and associates) gig in 36 years on Friday night (wow!!). AND I got to meet Robert Wyatt briefly last night, what a lovely bloke...
  5:43am the Canterbury wood-elf:

AWW, just realised why all the Clive Palmer at the top of the playlist. RIP CP...
Avatar 5:48am Jeff Conklin:

Hey, Pierre and Canterbury
Avatar 5:57am Jeff Conklin:

Thanks for listening, all. Have a great week and, if you celebrate it, Thanksgiving.
  6:19am Martin:

Hi Jeff
This show got linked to on the Yahoo ISB website and I am so glad I listened in. Your Clive Palmer tribute was very touching and rather better than the BBC effort last week. And the rest of the show was just the ticket too. You may be half a world away but I felt at home. And I recall Robin Williiamson's lyrics " Everywhere will be my native home".
Thank you. You have gained a fan.
All the best
Martin Zukor
P.S. A couple of weeks ago I saw this band:
They were fantastic and seemed the inheritors of the Incredible String Band's project in a way. And young and very good looking with so much energy. Worth checking out.
  5:48am Alistair:

Nice tribute...thanks. And, as Martin says, the rest of the show's not too shabby either!!! I'll also be listening in from time to time...
