I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

hi Bryce...let the Flower bloom
Avatar 12:07pm fred:

I'm not all that happy to see you're staying in the same slot, Bryce. That means I'll keep missing the end of your show. Better than nothing, though
Avatar 12:08pm Sem Chumbo:

Ah, very laudable. Precisely that to which my Zen teacher said I should be aspiring.
Hiya, Bryce.
Avatar 12:08pm chocolate monk:

cant beat a bit of Mick. Afternoon brother brows.
Avatar 12:09pm fred:

@Sem: My problem is I never left that stage, my Zen teacher would hit me over the head about it
Avatar 12:11pm fred:

@Sem: totally unrelated, but may I ask you for some book advice?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Bryce:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:12pm Carmichael:

Huzzah, it's Brycey time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:13pm George of Troy:

Hello Bryce and gang.
  12:13pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

Bryce:) I'm both happy and sad you and Daniel Blumin are still on the schedule
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14pm Bryce:

i have difficulty understanding human emotions but find them very interesting
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:14pm coelacanth:

hello Bryce and Bryceters.
...and on Flowers; 2 hours ago i was looking at white daffodils sticking up from snow. 'twas beautiful.
('snow's gone now.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:16pm adrian in mpls:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm DCE:

enjoying Talip!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:19pm DCE:

human emotions won't mean a thing when the machine-lords reveal the endgame
  12:19pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

I'm surprised to see rich hazelton of inflatable squirrel caucus on the schedule. Hasn't it be a few years since his show was on???
Avatar 12:20pm Sem Chumbo:

Hiya, fred, ask away.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm Carmichael:

When SkyNet becomes aware, there will be no more humans.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm common:

  12:22pm the Canterbury wood-elf:

Saz-tastic sounds from Mr. Özkan!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:22pm common:

anyone in philly on sat. my band is playing at eris temple 602 s. 52nd street. 8-ish. just throwing it out there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm adrian in mpls:

@common - i'm not doing anything....if i can fire up the astral plane teleporter device, i'm there
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm DCE:

@ common, you got links to your band somewhere I can check it out? Not leaving CLE this weekend but always up for listening
  12:26pm Tamar:

Inflatable Squirrel Carcass (I like caucus better, actually) has been on hiatus for a year and a half.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm common:

get that thing fired up, adrian. dce, i'll get that for ya.
Avatar 12:28pm Chris from DC:

Infinite clicks for Erkin Koray.
Avatar 12:28pm fred:

@Sem: I've run out of books by my fave authors (Colson Whitehead, Toni Morrison, DFW, Virginia Woolf, Pynchon, DeLillo) and I didn't like recently recommended ones (Faulkner, Rushdie, Dos Passos, Iris Murdoch). Someone recommended Joyce Carol Oates, what do you think? Any author you think I could try?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30pm common:

dce: i think this'll work . our facebook page.

  12:30pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

@tamar sorry auto spell
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm DCE:

well, I can't access it at work, but I'll send the link to my home email page
  12:31pm steve:

woo yeah Bryce time
Avatar 12:31pm fred:

@common: Are Radio Eris still active? They were some of the nicest people I've ever met
  12:31pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

@tamar I remember you having a show too. That's how long I've been listening and I'm 48 years old
Avatar 12:32pm Jesse K:

okay okay
Avatar 12:33pm Sem Chumbo:

@fred. I'd be happy to compile a list for you. It'll take a day or so, if that's OK.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34pm DCE:

Okay is damned OK
  12:35pm Phillip (Brooklyn):

Meghan had a great two shows today and yesterday. She dropped the F bomb so many times I thought I was listening to a porn film:-)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm common:

@fred: yea! we play with them a lot and practice at their space. they are awesome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm Carmichael:

@Sem, have you tried Josef Conrad? I really enjoy his fluid, descriptive style. I just re-read Nostromo recently.
Avatar 12:37pm fred:

@Sem: Totally OK. I haven't paid a visit to my fave bookstore in a while, it can wait a few more days. Amazing place, by the way, and Canadian: Abbey Bookshop in Paris
  12:41pm Tamar:

Philip, yep, but busy job so just doing fill-ins now. Bryce! We're crawling in traffic, but we're digging your show.
Avatar 12:44pm Sem Chumbo:

@fred. Great. I see we have similar tastes in some writers.
@Carmichael: guilty, and envious. English, his third language!
Avatar 12:44pm βrian:

? is a new favorite of mine.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm common:

same here, brian!
Avatar 12:48pm fred:

@common: I guess they don't have a fond memory of that show in Paris. Not many people showing up, the theremin shocking its handler. I had brought my copy of the principia discordia, but it wasn't enough
  12:49pm the Canterbury wood-elf:

@βrian: He's certainly gone in an interesting solo direction since The Mysterians split!
Avatar 12:50pm βrian:

Puzzling, isn't it[?]
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Is that the same ? who sometimes appears on the comments boards here?
Avatar 12:52pm Sem Chumbo:

Isn't ? a transgendered writer, formerly known as ! ( query)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm adrian in mpls:

@Canterbury wood-elf -- i was thinking the same thing!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:56pm common:

@fred: i'm gonna ask them about that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:59pm coelacanth:

if you have no name you get a "?"?
Avatar 12:59pm βrian:

@Sem: Do you mean "bang"? A fine operator, bang is.
  1:00pm ?:

...like this ?
Avatar 1:01pm Sem Chumbo:

Spot on, @ βrian:-D Isn't it lovely‽
Avatar 1:03pm fred:

@common: I know it sounds unlikely, but if your band ever comes to Paris, please let me know
Avatar 1:11pm fred:

@βrian: I hope that isn't max-speak. Either way, I have to go: namely to a show featuring Urinals and Storm Bugs
Avatar 1:19pm Sem Chumbo:

Thanks, Bryce. Lovely salon you have here Fridays. Later. I'm out.
Avatar 1:20pm βrian:

Dickies are making a fashion comeback.

Avatar 1:30pm βrian:

Do you use EADs, common?
  1:30pm the Canterbury wood-elf:

A real shame, but i must now split. Particularly good stuff this week, Bryce. Will catch the rest archivally.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:08pm adrian in mpls:

@coelacanth - if you right click or ctrl-click on the second set of links, you should get prompted with a menu where you can select "download" as an option

  2:15pm nic:

Avatar 2:16pm Cheri Pi:

this works for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17pm coelacanth:

Thank you Thank you! I did try all those things, but for some reason it seems to make a difference if i save it directly into my music folder. I've got it!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:18pm Bryce:

ngh, we have "Caim In Bird Form" here too — also really great! Beaty, but in an extremely warped, psychedelic way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:26pm coelacanth:

[...i also have to save it as "iTunes document";and i don't use i tunes, generally,so i was switching it to something else because i thought itunes might make it a proprietary file form that i can only play with itunes.]
Thanks again.
Avatar 2:27pm northguineahills:

Wow, I should get that as soon as I'm employed again. Off to watch some footy, awesome sounds as per usual!
