- saw Replacements sometime around - 1984? A band was billed as 'Tommy & the Placemats' in Boston: we all knew it was them trying to be sly - it was @ the Men's Innsquare Bar (?) - which had about two feet between the bar & stage! - & - we were tripping (I were young once too ya know, kiddo). Dresses were worn in the band - they played 'Strawberry Fields' - a great memory...
