Sem Chumbo:

Hiya, Brian. On the phone today, are you, calling Scots at random pleading with them to stay in the UK?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:40am
Brian in UK:

You must be kidding. No thought out plan for a currency I am afraid. It will be close but my guess is NO by a short head.
Avatar 3:50am
Jay/London:

good morning all ... @ Brian had enough of Scotland wish they would just vote and have other stuff on the news
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:54am
Brian in UK:

Hello Jay, kind of agree but at least that defers from the bluddy killing around the world.
Avatar 3:54am
Sem Chumbo:

Yes, it all sounds very familiar. Quebec, 1995, voted YES by 3/10ths of one percent to stay in Canada. Oh, brother!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58am
Stanley:

Hi all. Greetings from Scotland.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58am
Brian in UK:

Oh YES. Greasy Stuff.

Hello Stanley.

Jay/London:

@ Brian indeed but the news channels don't even report
that so well .. full of royal baby’s and such like seems they are hiding real news .... Hi Stanley you looking forward to the republic of Scotland ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01am
Brian in UK:

Jay you just mentioned the unmentionable. Chardonnay, the royal baby.
Avatar 4:02am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08am
Brian in UK:

Micah perhaps it is because English is a foreign language to TD and the others feel a need to show off their semantic skills? Being English speakers. Could just be pretentious bull.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08am
micah:

guten morgen zeer
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:09am

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10am
micah:

brian i think we just live in very pretensious times. postmodernism gone awry. who cares anyway
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12am
Stanley:

Hi Jay. I'm sick and tired of the way things are in our country. The lack of any meaningful reform and the grip the establishment has over us. It took two world wars to effect any change that radically benefited the the people and I don't want another. In my opinion, independence offers a small part of the population an opportunity to improve their situation by giving them the power to do so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14am
Brian in UK:

Well Stanley, the doors were pushed ajar by New Labour after '97 with DEVOlution so this is a kind of logical step.
Avatar 4:16am
Jay/London:

@ Stanley I hope It is a YES !!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20am
Stanley:

Thanks for your support, fellas.
Its going to be very close and what ever happens we will have a divided country.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:20am
Brian in UK:

zeer there are WFMU listeners all over Germany. Are the photographs taken by you?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:21am
Stanley:

I meant to say the people of Scotland will be divided.

brian:
the secret wfmu-world-network ;)
@photographs: yes, they are
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24am
Brian in UK:

Stanley do you think it will be tougher afterwards with a tight vote from a divided point.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:26am
Brian in UK:

zeer do you favour B/W or colour?

Just discovered Egon Schiele, almost 100 years since he died but still contemporary.
Avatar 4:28am
zeer:

both, it depends on my mood and subject. but b/w mostly in analogue photography
Avatar 4:33am
Sem Chumbo:

Had no idea about this group until now. Thanks, Micah.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:42am
Stanley:

Brian, if its a No vote then we'll just carry one but I'm sure the SNP will blame the politicians in Westminster for putting fear into the Scottish people and Alex Salmond is quite a popular leader here, on all sides of the spectrum. So its likely that resentment towards the London establishment will increase. If its a Yes vote we're bound to have problems amongst ourselves and we'll have to stay calm.
