and Juana Molina the evening before.

Both were awesome!

Hi Alessia,
I hope you get Angel Olsen in good mood!
She doesn't look angry in Cologne alone as some videos proove!
But her albums drilled into my subconciousness.

'pataphysics rock.
Avatar 9:45am bibi:

@pierre : FootBall ! didnt you say that earlier ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:46am Guido from Cologne:

Juana Molina appears with her trio.

The songs are performed surprisingly close to the album versions.
But the give it a real drive. Actually pretty danceable.

One encore was solo.

She had a few problems with the monitors not working, but she handled it well. Actually Molina and the two guys got their machinery (devices and instruments) under controll.

Highly recommended! everyone gotta become a fan after witnessing her.
Avatar 9:48am pierre:

@ Bibi : aaah siiii, (my mind is twisted by social media, i understand "fb" as facebook today) It's still on project, i'll tell you if that goes somewhere :)

  10:22am David Redbranch:

Oh my god- I haven't hear "Going to Alaska" since someone on WZBC played it in 1997 while we were listening to the radio in my high school photo lab! We never knew who it was by, but we kept singing it the rest of the year. That makes my day!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23am Guido from Cologne:

But not Karen Black the actor!
Where do we get some more?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23am davex:

qwerty came about because people were typing way too fast for the typewriters of the time.
Avatar 10:31am Alessia:

@Cecile, Azerty is the french keyboard (yes, they felt the need to have their own one), different from the qwerty one it can be really annoying if you are not use to it. I'm in France since September and still wondering why.

The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black. There is some sort of rule that no two movie, Tv or recording artists can have exact same name. There are exceptions but for most part it holds true

Avatar 11:00am Alessia:

Ah oui Cecile Wikipedia explains it all! "The name comes from ciuppin, a word in the Ligurian dialect of the port city of Genoa, meaning "to chop" or "chopped" which described the process of making the stew by chopping up various 'left overs' of the day's catch.[1] Ciuppin is also a classic soup of Genoa, similar in flavor to cioppino, with less tomato, and the seafood cooked to the point that it falls apart."
