Going through a break up Scott, this is very uplifting!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm Scott Williams:

daaaaamn, sorry to hear risky! glad it helps
Avatar 3:27pm thunderish' Jay:

we don't need any substance addiction to be happy or free .. im totally recognizable of that .. resources for some search ? ok! .. but like a mechanic tool gets overheated if pushed hard, so does our body sends us the clear signals .. from cairo or marrakech, or whatever
Avatar 3:27pm Cecile:

ITA with Scott, risky.
Scott, you should also play the Motels. My gift to you. ahhahahahah
Avatar 3:28pm KP:

So good i could cry
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm Scott Williams:

hahaha Cecile! every week's show is my gift to me
Avatar 3:29pm thunderish' Jay:

poisoned bodies and minds close their cosmicity
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm Scott Williams:

and I might be a bit guilty of over-hitting both of those treasure-pleasures
Avatar 3:30pm Cecile:

fine then.
I just discovered that the first McCartney solo album does not suck as communicated to me. If you could play something from that if it fits in, that would be great.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm Greg from Bloomfield:

Happy Birthday to Scott Williams, Kim Gordon, and the late, great Saddam Hussein!!
  3:32pm gramasita:

Happy Birthday Scott!! Make it a great one!!
Avatar 3:32pm Cecile:

are you doing something special for dinner? That is my usual favorite part of having a birthday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32pm Scott Williams:

Thanks Greg! Yeah, you prolly wouldn't wanna put all 3 of us in a room together. Or maybe you would?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:35pm Scott Williams:

@Cecile, yeah I kinda always do something special-ish for dinner. gotta eat good! McCartney 1st solo record is great indeed, will see where it can go
Avatar 3:36pm Cecile:

that's the problem with being old.
Reading the critical consensus back when the post-Beatles hangover was still strong.
Avatar 3:36pm thunderish' Jay:

Congrats Mr Scott Williams have a great one but make it tomorrow better, and start feeling ageless .. our eyes tell people our real age: eternity
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:36pm common:

love the 1st mccartney record. and Ram!
Avatar 3:37pm Cecile:

dig both of them now, but it took me 40+ years to get around to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm Scott Williams:

lotta love around these parts for "temporary secretary". i'm into "coming up" (and 1st 2 solo, and Band on the Run is great)
Avatar 3:39pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

My adopted birthday bwah, after the show we'll go out for ice-cream & cookies. Or pickles & beer. Or curry & helium. Jeezus, I can't figure this out...
Avatar 3:39pm Cecile:

Band on the Run is indeed pretty badass.
  3:41pm Dean:

Kreen-Akrore off the first album. "Helen Wheels" and "Girls School" are top-notch power pop tunes. HB to SW, and to my dear old 87YO mother!
Avatar 3:41pm Cecile:

I like a lot of Speed of Sound, but it's definitely a polarizing record.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm SeanG:

Take it away, wanna hear you play till the lights go down, down, down
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44pm Scott Williams:

DADDY! See you afters in the ethers
  3:45pm steve:

heya Scott, many additional happies
Avatar 3:46pm Cecile:

this track is badass, speaking of badass.
  3:46pm Stashu:

Sto lat!
Avatar 3:47pm Cecile:

Avatar 3:47pm northguineahills:

Yaye, Scott made another successful lap around the sun!

Which Ethiopiques was that one track that was b/tn Nico & Aki Onda? Ethiopiques 8?
Avatar 3:47pm Chris M.:

happy birthday!
Avatar 3:52pm dc pat:

yeah, I'm anti-mayo too.
Avatar 3:53pm KP:

Happy Birthday, Scott! this explains the teary opening
Avatar 3:53pm dc pat:

but then I'm anti-ketchup also, YUCK!
Avatar 3:53pm Cecile:

I like it, but sparingly.
Avatar 3:54pm Cecile:

Ketchup even more sparingly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm Bas NL:

Van harte gefeliciteerd Scott! Happy Birthday!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm steve:

not even wasabi mayo? that's good stuff.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:55pm Ike:

Ketchup is gross. Way too sweet. I much prefer tqemali. (No, I am not trying to be deliberately obscure. That's a real thing. It's tasty.)
Avatar 3:56pm Cecile:

I can do German curry ketchup on a hotdog. It's quite yummy.
Avatar 3:57pm Cecile:

And I use it as a component in sloppy joes and BBQ sauce. But that's about it.
Avatar 3:58pm Cecile:

today's tom sawyer...
Avatar 3:59pm Cecile:

this sounds like the pygmy voices of the forest record gone dubstep.
Avatar 3:59pm Cecile:

that one track where they are washing clothes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59pm SeanG:

Never enough ketchup!
Avatar 4:00pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

sriracha in place of ketchup in all circumstances, unless some kind of curry/vindaloo sauce is readily available.
Avatar 4:00pm thunderish' Jay:

Hey, Chris M. good afternoon mate.. yesterday kinda "raw"cked instead of rocked thus the negative energy in some moments or so .. it was not really meaningful was still part of the affirmation hope for your support and understanding, cheers
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm steve:

hmm, ICMTM lived up to their amazing band name.
Avatar 4:01pm dc pat:

yes I use sriracha on notdogs, etc. I've been putting it on everything lately...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm DCE:

my wife gives me a hard time for putting hot sauce on everything, but it's hot sauce for christ's sake. you can't NOT put it on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:04pm Ike:

Sriracha is more sweet than it seems at first. Nice sweet/spicy balance but kind of deceptive. No wonder it's caught on here in the land of sugar. I like it anyway, but I try to mix it w/other, less sweet things.
Avatar 4:06pm Cecile:

I just cannot do heat the way i used to.
Avatar 4:07pm northguineahills:

Sriracha is also too sweet for me. However, there are other rooster chili sauces out there that use less sugar I enjoy.
Avatar 4:07pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Ike: I tend to mix it with a particular sambal (not Huy Fong's, can't remember the name) -- takes a bit of the sweet edge off the sriracha, adds texture. ... getting hungry. . .
  4:07pm ?:

Tabasco + ketchup. Takes the edge off the ketchup...
All this talk making me want french fries...
Avatar 4:10pm dc pat:

yeah it's sweet. I mix with hummus, gomasio, nutritional yeast for SUPER hummus dip.
  4:10pm Dean:

Trader Joe's Habanero Hot Sauce: http://www.whatsgoodattraderjoes.com/2012/05/trader-joes-habenero-hot-sauce.html
  4:12pm Lulu:

It's your birthday!! \m/ Rock on!
  4:16pm Chris:

Amazing tracks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:16pm Mike East:

it always comes back to hot sauce...
Avatar 4:17pm northguineahills:

Actually, Trader Joe's Habanero sauce was spicier then I'd anticipate for a grocery store hot sauce.
Avatar 4:17pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

the best "food lubricant" i've ever had is the chili sauce/sambal-like stuff at the local Malaysian restaurant. It's hot enough to be serious, but not goofy-macho-extremism. Perfect balance, the stuff is GOD GOO.
Avatar 4:18pm Cecile:

I like Crystal hot sauce from Jamaica. It's like Tabasco, if Tabasco were made with sugar-cane vinegar. And hotter.
Avatar 4:18pm Cecile:

Not Crystal! Jeez. Grace hot sauce - that's the stuff from Jamaica.
  4:18pm Lulu:

man, i always love Pulse Emitter
  4:20pm Dean:

@ngh: I shared your surprise. There's a good dose of habanero in there.
Avatar 4:22pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

What Lulu said.
Avatar 4:22pm northguineahills:

I miss Mall, he/they were fun.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:24pm steve:

haha, i think i know what this is!
Avatar 4:25pm thunderish' Jay:

hey La cliippers on the news here .. oh nevermind, just bollocks from a trump look a like
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28pm fleep:

Sterling has been an ass for decades but no one said boo to big shot real estate one percenter until now. Finally.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:28pm DCE:

indeed, bollocks!
Avatar 4:30pm thunderish' Jay:

uau the tables are really shifting .. theres no stop indeed now .. 12 hrs jam session of "all greed belongs in hell" beginning, now! ;)
Avatar 4:31pm Cecile:

donald sterling is a bad owner apart from the remarks. He keeps the Clippers mediocre so he gets a better tax break and keeps salaries down. If they won, he would have open his wallet.
Avatar 4:32pm Cecile:

and what fleep said.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:32pm chris:

Congratulations on another revolution around the Sun, Scott! May the road continue to rise up to meet you and the wind continue to be at your back.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm Bas NL:

Nice set maestro!
Avatar 4:34pm thunderish' Jay:

its being sensed from friends i have all over the world, in spain also the banana throw to a footballer on the same basis had a great social response, with humor and smartness we overcome inferiority
  4:37pm That Bipolar Guy:

Hi Scott:-)
  4:37pm That Bipolar Guy:

I'm writing this from the hospital Emergency Room
Avatar 4:38pm Kevlicki:

Good Afternoon Mr Scott Williams1
Avatar 4:38pm northguineahills:

@thunderish' Jay: Ah, Dani Alves eating the banana thrown at him? That was great!
  4:39pm That Bipolar Guy:

I took a flop off a chair and hit my head
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40pm Carmichael:

Happy birthday Scotty, and stay the hell away from the botox. You look just fine.

And RTD, I'm considering God Goo as the title of my next album.
Avatar 4:43pm thunderish' Jay:

btw my real work in music untill now was as vocalist .. we're yet to missing that connection, our natural born instrument
  4:43pm kitty:

Less talk more music
  4:45pm That Bipolar Guy:

Me Williams could I hear a little William Basinski
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46pm Rectitude:

A little late, but still breathing . .. ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm chris:

Feel better soon, @TBG! If you got a concussion, you really shouldn't be listening to music, sadly... Turn brain off, let it rest.
Avatar 4:49pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

@Carm: may the God Goo be witchu!
Avatar 4:50pm Kevlicki:

DOes anyone know if this Letter Home album is carried in any record stores in NYC?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm Carmichael:

But you get that natural echo effect, chris. Makes everything a little freakier.

Seriously TBG, take the drugs and hit the pillow.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:50pm Guido from Cologne:

... for my part i go for the Bert Jansch original ...
Avatar 4:52pm thunderish' Jay:

excluding of course my twice a year performance of hand slapping body percussion in equinox and solstice at some random metro station :)
  4:52pm That Bipolar Guy:

I'm writing this from a bed in the emergency room. The doctor said if was ok because the music from the iPhone speaker is very low

I wanted to hear a little of William basinski disintegration loops
  4:53pm That Bipolar Guy:

They shit me with something and my throbbing headache went away
  4:54pm That Bipolar Guy:

Shot. I meant to say shot me full of something really good
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55pm chris:

They shot you with good shit, TBG :-)
  4:57pm That Bipolar Guy:

@chris darn right they did! Man it felt like Keith moon doing a drum solo on my head! They injected me with some kind if shit and WOW!!! 5 minutes it was gone!
