sunz up, here in Jersey City. Good morgan, aftranoon, etc. How's bayou?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:05am Sem Chumbo:

Good morning, fxo. -1C overnight, a nor'easter blowing and overcast. The new normal, I guess. Got your premium last week! Great, eh?
  6:06am P-90:

dear God, is it Monday again already?
Top of the Mornin', @DJ fxo
...the triumphant return to web-only, our little secret here once more
Avatar 6:08am fxo:

hallo, friends. Sem, glad you liked the CD. P-90, our secret is safe.
Avatar 6:15am Elisa In Italy:

Ciao.
Avatar 6:18am fxo:

Ciao backatcha!
  6:18am P-90:

Web-only feels more intimate, like a chic little club for those in the know
... + no pesky legal ID's, (WMFU? there's a joke there, right?) and every hour is a Safe Harbor hour, every Monday's a holiday...
a cozy little pub where one can stop by for a pint and some convivial company as the sun rises
  6:21am P-90:

@Elisa: Ciao, Ragazza! Back in Italy? Barcelona was only a holiday?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:30am Guido from Cologne:

Good morning, Ciao, TZAG everyone!
  6:33am P-90:

@ Guido: Ciao! Frank is sporting an international cast, 4 countries so far?
Avatar 6:36am fxo:

TZAG, Guido. Time zones are abound.
Avatar 6:37am Looms:

Hello Frank and everyone. Half past noon here.

@P-90: are our DJs allowed to play Sleaford Mods songs without cutting the slang during web-only broadcasts?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:38am Guido from Cologne:

I'm listening via Android App (Mobile). But typing to the PC.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:42am Guido from Cologne:

Maybe should be added:
NOT the British drummer named Twink!
Right?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43am maestroso:

G'mornin FXO and listeners, on the Iphone I am.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45am Guido from Cologne:

... hoops ... right now it sounds like there comes the other Twink?
Really sounds like a forgotten "Think Pink"-track!
Avatar 6:46am fxo:

morning 'stroso.
Guido, I wasn't sure about the "Twink" connection. Thanks.
hey, Looms.
  6:48am P-90:

@ Guido: I like the latest version of the WFMU app, they definitely fixed some bugs and added inprovemnts.
My pet peeve with the previous iterations was that in IOS for Mac mobile devices, it only displayed in portrait mode, if I was using an IPad on the landscape side, I had to turn it to see it clearly, or turn my head to the side, but now it rotates just fine
@Looms: Where are you? We've added another country, right? On web-only, the DJs can play (or say) whatever they like, at their own discretion,, not regulated by the American Federal Communications Commision
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49am Guido from Cologne:

New Twink (Mike Langlie):

Old Twink (John Adler):

Avatar 6:50am Looms:

@P-90: I'm in Brittany, Western France. Thx for your answer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56am Guido from Cologne:

@P-90
Android-version does not rotate @ all, but stays stable.

Certain things are missed still:
The login for instance.
And since I'm using a tablet I prefer the old fashioned playlist in the browser anyway.
  6:56am P-90:

@Guido: Old Twink is still active. He's reportedly on board for a reunion of the classic psychedelic band Tomorrow with Keith West and Steve Howe, an idea that's been kicked around for a couple of years
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59am Guido from Cologne:

Twink never stops!
One of those guys who where "real Hippie" but "proto Punk" as well and as much.
  7:04am P-90:

Twink was totally at the top of the original 60's pop scene in London, yeah, he's like proto-everything...!
He changed his name to Mohammed Abdullah, still performs/records as Twink, though
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:06am Guido from Cologne:

Band from Poland who performed Chopin on Toy Pianos:
maleinstrumenty.pl...

Marvelous group. Seen them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:14am Guido from Cologne:

Didn't like the "flesh Tone" album overmuch.
But the new one by Kelis seems to be intersting.
  7:17am P-90:

@ Looms: re: Angel Haze.
I think the Sleaford Mods are good to go, slang and all
Avatar 7:22am Elisa In Italy:

Sorry, I was working...I shouldn't let work interrupt my WFMU experience but I need to eat. I'm back in Italy but hopefully heading back to BCN soon. Cheers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:41am Sem Chumbo:

Lifting my head from the keyboard, but been listening right along, Frank, and digging it all mucho. Gracias, Senor Más de Unos Pocos Momentos Emocionantes.
  7:45am P-90:

@fxo: that's brilliant
Avatar 7:50am Looms:

very nice a capella cover
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53am Ken From Hyde Park:

Is Petra Haden associated with the Haden Triplets? I suppose I could search the web for that answer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:54am Ken From Hyde Park:

Yep - Petra, Tanya and Rachel, (born October 11, 1971 in New York City) are them.
Avatar 7:57am fxo:

good call, Ken. Their father is Charlie Haden.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03am Guido from Cologne:

... and That Dog was a pretty cool band featuring the hden sisters.
  8:04am vanya moscow:

oh, here`s some amazing guitar. TASTE! i gotta check them out
Avatar 8:11am mauri:

Good monday Frank and everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12am common:

good monday frank. everyone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13am Guido from Cologne:

There is a pretty popular German 70ies band called Lake:
www.lake-music.de

Looks like name conlict.
Avatar 8:16am Frank O'Toole:

Goob morning common, as well as mauri (say hello to Vanya, okay?)

I know of the 70's "Lake". I used to have a picture disc from back then. I wasn't a fan to the 70's version, but the picture disc was cool.
Avatar 8:16am Elisa In Italy:

pretty cool. Boogie!!! Yeah!
Avatar 8:17am mauri:

@guido I like the band member descriptions
Avatar 8:23am Looms:

@Guido: there are at least 4 musical projects named Lake and 9 others named Twink. What a mess!
  8:38am P-90:

@ fxo: Your comments board is like a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. It's fair to say that "More than a Few Exciting Moments..." is an international phenomenon.
Avatar 8:40am fxo:

flattery will always get me...
  8:41am erika:

Loved the Norman cook compilation! I haven't heard the housemartins on the radio since probably 1987 ;)
  8:45am david from ks:

,,,good pairing,,,her vocals are very nice,,,,good work FXO
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:48am Sem Chumbo:

More than a few rays of sunshine amidst the grey overcast and rain here thanks to the FXO show. See you later! Be well, all.
Avatar 8:52am fxo:

thanks Erika & David. Check me next week, Sem. I'll have a new webcast, at WFMU.org, same time zones, et al. Have a superb week, y'all.
Peace.
  8:56am P-90:
