P-90 Sorry, 14 years ago. Her work was done as far as I was concerned. She told me that if I was going to quit working as an artist she wanted a divorce. Pretty unusual huh? It's normally the other way around, the women gets tired of the dysfunctional art devoted bacon deprived husband. She is as unusual as I.

  12:38am
P-90:

So, you're saying she ran off with a hot Jamaican chick?

I'm from the Big City, old chap, so I've heard that version of the story, she saw herself with an artist, no matter how fraught with complications and uncertainties that might be. A more common dynamic (in some precincts) than you might think.
But have you gone ahead and done some art, o.k. , Art, in the years since? Without any pressure to meet her expectations?

Martha? God, I haven't been paying attention at ALL.
Avatar 12:45am
Whooda:

I still love and respect her, she saved my sanity, taught me how to love and guided me to success as an artist. Am born and will die an artist. I only 'checked-out' of the competitive, recognition seeking version of creativity.

She ran off with a hot blond haired blue eyed Russian internet mail order chick. I wish. She hooked up with a fat bank officer at first but remains unmarried. We may end up together again. Can t be sure until she starts talking to me again. I do regret gifting her my Smith and Wesson nickle plated 357 magnum. That was foolish.
Avatar 12:50am

Your're really tickling my ears DJ Amanda Nazario.
  12:50am

@Whoo: ok, enough kidding around, no way am I gonna believe this fantasy about a "fat bank officer".
And c'mon, doesn't she need that piece a lot more than you do? (The S&W, not the Russian blonde ...) [rolls eyes like Groucho]

@Skirkie, I myself kept being like, "OK, so I'll go to the station on Sunday night at... WAIT!"

ahahaha P-90. She's a hot Italian blooded thing with an Argentinian sense of justice. While married she took to carrying the piece around only to pull it on a driver who got too close to her and the baby while she was riding the three-wheel bike.

Googled Mackeeper. I would not install that but would use freeware instead. discussions.apple.com...

@Whoodini: Au contrere, my friend, hard-core Mac geeks and Mac professionals alike agree on MacKeeper:

P-90 I don't disagree with you on that, but if a freeware was available I would choose that before paying for a defrag app.

But at present there is no freeware that works as well. Sure we love the idea of freeware on principle, but sometimes there isn't freeware that does what a good piece of professionally designed commercial "product" does.
For DJ Amanda's purposes, the basic version of MacKeeper sold on Apple's own App site will certainly do what she needs it to. (And remember, Apple is VERY careful about the apps they market on their own site, and guarantee.)

Yes I just read that what Apple offers is a stripped down version of Mackeeper and less likely to have malware because it is vetted by Apple. I believe there is free defrag apps for Apple. I know nothing about Apple though.

Awwwww, we had a very good experience too, @DJ Amanda.
I for one will make an effort to stop by the regular Scenario when you're on live to say "Hi!"
Thanks again, enjoy the Marathon (Ho ho ho)
