Avatar 12:34am Danne D:

One of things I've always loved about the station is that DJs just bring the best of the particular style/genre they are expert in. I learn so much about bands/artists that I just never would've had my radar otherwise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40am sinister dexter:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:52am Guido (Cologne):

Hello out here!
Switching on WFMU after getting up and starting with another of my all-time favorites:
The Del-Vetts. Nice way to start a day!
My suspicion is that the awesome proto-grunge guitar sound was an idea of the producer (one of the Dunwich guys) though.
  2:05am Portland Robert:

$mall ¢hange, came in late. what did you mean above "actually 2 copies of the 45 I cut it a lil' short" -- very curious. (ful disclosure: OCD)
  2:06am Alex Skramble:

I'm so stoked that $¢ is back in the mix!
  2:07am Portland Robert:

great pull quote for your biography dust jacket (assuming there's one being written), "So smooth he could segue in the b-side from the same 45." -- take it. it's yours.
  2:08am $mall ¢hange:

werd/life nice to be here...2 copies means I was repeating the intro on 2 separate 45s...
  2:13am Portland Robert:

sweet move! (thanks so much for the comeback) such a great show, man. can't wait to spread the word about you. #PortlandRadioSuuuuuucks
(note: was AOR station DJ in Fairbanks, Alaska 1989-92. best shows were Blues show and "3 and Under" on overnights. neither of them mine.)
