Listener comments!

  3:29am Mike from MPLS:

Hi...tell me about what you normally do. I'm up later than usual
Avatar 3:34am Mike from MPLS:

Are you one of the DJ's that would have problems finding 45s that fit what you normally do?
Avatar 3:38am Mike from MPLS:

Anyone else here?
Avatar 3:44am Mike from MPLS:

Got anything more achey that retains an upbeat energy? Prideful heartache maybe?
Avatar 3:57am Mike from MPLS:

Whoa...younger than I expcted. This is great.
Avatar 4:03am Mike from MPLS:

Love this set.
Avatar 4:10am Mike from MPLS:

I really like Rob Weisberg's Transpacific Sound Paradise premium
Avatar 4:19am Mike from MPLS:

Lee Fields is here 11/2. Thanks for the tip!
Avatar 4:24am book ends:

Steady as she goes DJ.
Avatar 4:27am Soaped Up Saddle:

That's the hard stuff! dust it baby!
Avatar 4:31am Mike from MPLS:

Oh yeah
Avatar 4:31am Smelly Socks:

These are the good old day; sitting around the turntable listening to 45's from the good old days.
Avatar 4:34am Mike from MPLS:

I'm just happy to be exposed. I tried to get into record collecting recently. Too late in the game without a solid base of knowledge. I'm just happy to have WFMU
Avatar 4:37am Clear Glass Bottom Bloomers:

Put your clothes back on Mike! Have you no shame? LOL I know the music's good but hang on to your dignity. On second thought, let go of your dignity long enough to get your pants back on.
Avatar 4:40am Mike from MPLS:

If exposing myself would bring in any kind of money, I would gladly do so for this station...Dignity aside, I'm excited for my first pilgrimage to WFMU.
Avatar 4:41am Dee Laid Reactions:

I'ts a world-class joint alright.
Avatar 4:43am Mike from MPLS:

I was already hoping to, but once this venue happens I bet I can convert the unfaithful.
Avatar 4:45am Columbian Gold Whooda:

Yes, I can only imagine the bushels of magenta and cyan hair and nose rings in the audience of the new theater. Sure to become a legendary space.
Avatar 4:48am Shadowy Roomate:

If hustling 45's wasn't enough of a workout DJ you got a make a Time-Life promo in your spare time? How do you do it?
Avatar 4:48am Mike from MPLS:

I'm hoping for some sort of weeklong event someday
Avatar 4:50am stray teepee:

First things first Mike. They got to get the bathrooms in first. Don't even THINK about week long events before that!
Avatar 4:50am Mike from MPLS:

Like the marathon!?! Going to be awesome.
Avatar 4:51am Mike from MPLS:

I'm an optimist. They'll get what they need.
Avatar 4:54am Mike from MPLS:

I saw the zombies a couple of years back. Half their set was Argent songs...
Avatar 4:58am Mike from MPLS:

I was just looking through some of your playlists, I'm excited to listen to some of your archive tomorrow.
Avatar 4:59am Hula Girl Chauvinist:

What's behind this Going Steady with Singles angle anyway...is this Station Manger's Ken idea of providing an on-site exercise gym.
Avatar 5:01am Mike from MPLS:

I could see how pushing singles for a week might scrounge up some new listeners.
Avatar 5:02am Constant Closet Velocities:

There's never (hardly) ever a dull moment on WFMU.
Avatar 5:03am Dirty Unies:

I feel like people around me benefit from my loyalty to WFMU...hard being surrounded by techno-phobes.
Avatar 5:11am Mike from MPLS:

Any idea why my avatar wants to be sideways?
Avatar 5:14am Laptops in Lockup:

That's really weird, it displays right-side-up from your enlarged profile page. Never seen that before. What is that detail image from?
Avatar 5:16am Mike from MPLS:

iPhone photo I took. I cropped it, I'm going to try again..
Avatar 5:16am Mike from MPLS:

Must have something to do with its dimensions
Avatar 5:18am Wanda Does Wall Street:

I hear the cool kids talking about an new (iphone?) app for WFMU, you might check it out. My phone doesn't even have a camera.
Avatar 5:20am Mike from MPLS:

I use it regularly...there are some definite improvements with the new version. I seriously listen to WFMU in some form about 10-12 hours a day
Avatar 5:25am Pudding Pick Up Stick:

Always hate to leave before I puke, but got to call it a night early this morning. Thanks DJ. Good Morning Mike.
Avatar 5:28am M'r F'r:

Avatar 5:56am Mike from MPLS:

Great show. Glad I was along for the ride.
Avatar 5:57am Bas NL:
