Noize is on!
Avatar 10:38am doca:

hello liz, great set indeed
Avatar 10:39am ᏠЄႶႶỊѺµЄ:

Morning Liz! Just favorite-ed this song "Vitamin C" which to me is a Pink Floyd-esque redux for these 2013 times.
Avatar 10:41am doca:

the problem with those malkmus' versions of can songs is that you understand the lyrics.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43am Liz Berg:

Ha ha, you have a good point, Doca!
Avatar 10:46am Chris from DC:

Yes, love this Hey Collosus.
  10:48am kosta:

Star hey colossus
  10:49am lex dexter:

It is indeed news to me that the words "Vitamin C" appear in the Can song entitled "Vitamin C." I am seriously that dense, people. Nice enunciating, SM!
Avatar 10:49am Chris from DC:

Spelling is not my strong suit this morning.
  10:49am lex dexter:

Also that Uranium Orchard cut was fancy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52am Carmichael:

Yo Liz. Yo listeners.
Avatar 10:53am Yair Yona:

Les Dexter is a cool name
Avatar 10:54am doca:

not that the lyrics are bad, bud damo suzuki's spelling and the ambiguities generated by it had their charm
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:54am Rick from SC:

reminds me of Hawkwind
  10:55am kosta:

Is some oneida coming?
Avatar 11:07am the glowing one:

It's obvious that the Moroder interview had a lasting impact on you, Liz. :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:08am Carmichael:

Georgio Moroder is a cool name too.
Avatar 11:08am the glowing one:

Yeah, sounds like "marauder".
  11:09am kosta:

Berlusconis nose get down boggie bunga bunga
  11:10am Jelly Jim:

Loving it in hot, hot UK
  11:11am kosta:

George Marauder
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11am fred:

For the most part, I dislike Moroder. But the part I do like is exactly why Liz was the best to interview him, for me that is
  11:13am kosta:

Great stuff !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14am Vivian:

Damn, some sad news this morning: Faye Hunter, part of '80s band Let's Active, dies of apparent suicide at 59

Avatar 11:14am Chris from DC:

Pop-up just cut out for anyone else? Switching to backup.
Avatar 11:15am tim:

Estupendo show, Liz. Спасибо большое!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:18am Liz Berg:

Sad news, Vivian, thanks for posting.
Avatar 11:19am Rev. Turnip Druid:

good morning to those who have earned it.
Avatar 11:19am Cheri Pi:

Ahhh thanks Liz.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am Stevel:

Rev. TD: I most certainly have NOT earned this day, but I refuse to return your offer of goodness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am herb.nyc:

yes, very sad about FAYE HUNTER. r.i.p. i've been singing *this* song to myself for past 2wks, ever since the BIG STAR TRIBUTE at central park. reason: seeing MITCH EASTER on stage. take care faye.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:21am northguineahills:

Youch, thanks Vivian.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am fred:

Good morning to those fellow slackers who have done nothing whatsoever to earn it
Avatar 11:23am Rev. Turnip Druid:

Those who have not yet earned a good morning may take one on credit, at a reasonable APR for the first 90 days. After that, hoo-boy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am Ken From Hyde Park:

The TV & internet news websites are agog with the pending royal birth in England today. Liz, you have a suitable royal baby birth song queued up? Is there a royal corner in the FMA, where us commoners cannot access?
  11:27am Tvers:

Loving this tune. What is this WNYX I keep hearing in the station ID? Wasn't that the psuedo radio station on NewsRadio? :D
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28am Ken From Hyde Park:

Yarf....where's my Queen's English at? Should have said "we commoners" back there.
  11:30am kosta:

Utter classic there tahiti 80
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:31am Carmichael:

Liz, this set is boppy without being jumpy. Suave DJ moves.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am Ike:

Vacation! Time to go hiking while listening at 91.9.
Avatar 11:34am Jelly Jim:

That Ethan Persoff one was cool, like it !
Avatar 11:34am the glowing one:

Hm, I haven't listened to the new BoC album yet. Even though I was playing their albums constantly a few years ago.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:37am DCE:

yeah this is GOOD!
  11:38am bobw:

i love BoC (er... NOT blue oyster cult), but this album... i was hoping for more. but it's got some good moments.
Avatar 11:40am the glowing one:

@DCE: I disagree. It's not as stirring as what they did before. Actually I was missing that "magic" here.
Avatar 11:43am Chris from DC:

How terrible, I had no idea about Faye Hunter. RIP.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:43am fred:

@the glowing one: this is the one goodish track in my opinion. I went through the release airing at work, snoozefest. Some transitions were good, but the longer tracks bored me. Just my unenlightened opinion there, please hold your lawyers, BoC!
Avatar 11:44am the glowing one:

They look like wizards. No, they ARE wizards!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:45am DCE:

@ the glowing one, haha, the sentence "yeah this is GOOD!" should have had the disclaimer that it applied to my perception only!
Avatar 11:46am the glowing one:

@fred: Yeah, that's what I heard about the album. Seems people were correct if that's the best track.
Avatar 11:54am johnforz:

New BoC is totally a snooze fest.

There is maybe one or two moderately interesting tracks. They've done a good job of emulating the aesthetic of music way more interesting (carpenter, frizzi, etc). it's a shame, but seems the days of Geogaddi are long gone...
  11:54am kosta:

Yay liz thanks great show! Take it ez!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:55am northguineahills:

Thanks Liz!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:56am northguineahills:

Snooze fest as in good sleepy music, or music that puts you to sleep when you want to be awake?
Avatar 11:57am the glowing one:

More like the latter unfortunately.
Avatar 11:57am johnforz:

...as in music is boring and more about style than substance
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:00pm northguineahills:

gotcha. Thanks!
Avatar 12:01pm the glowing one:

  12:01pm kosta:

Swims in oil . perfect!
