Happy Bastille Day, fred and frenchee!
  6:25am frenchee:

Likin' this Alg. Sui song too, good morning Fred and Thomas!
Avatar 6:32am Thomas:

frenchee - yeah! that Algebra Suicide collection just released by Dark Entries
  6:34am frenchee:

ooh, tasty.
I like the singer's snarky voicings.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46am fred:

I just got word that Plastobeton will play in Paris in September. Knowing their recent aversion to tours and shows, maybe there's hope for a new release
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52am fred:

Moon Duo plays around here with Ty Segall and White Fence next week. I probably won't go though: I don't like the venue and it's very expensive
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:52am Rob W:

Joyeux Le Quatorze Juillet!
Avatar 7:03am Thomas:

Good morning to you, Rob W. fred, I hope you're right. When's the last time they played?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09am fred:

They played twice in April (Paris and Metz), but it took a lot of lobbying. The re-release is probably a factor, but I hope it got them re-started. I'll let you know if I hear more
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45am fred:

Though most of the info I get is from Tanzprocesz, and I guess you're already on his mailing list
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:57am fred:

I like this (Magisch Theater Productions). Is it a re-release?
Avatar 8:00am Yair Yona:

Wonderful sounds from Clockwork
Avatar 8:00am Thomas:

Yep, Belgium 1983. "Composed soundmusic to watch paintings and sculptures". Put together as a soundtrack for an exhibition of Peter Braet
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:01am fred:

Agreed, and good afternoon Yair
Avatar 8:03am Yair Yona:

Hey Fred!
Avatar 8:05am Thomas:

fred, actually I don't subscribe to many mailing lists, Tanzprocesz included
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:05am fred:

@Yair: any plan to play in Paris? Farthest South or on your own, I'd love to hear you live
Avatar 8:07am Yair Yona:

@Fred, no-unfortunately, but I really hope in 2014 . We'll have couple of more albums out and then we'd start looking for some shows. I will keep you posted of course
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08am fred:

@Thomas: Then I'll let you know for sure. Small world fact: Tanzprocesz released a Nat Roe record, years ago
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12am fred:

@Yair: totally great news! A couple more albums and a possible tour! Do check out Instants Chavirés: www.instantschavires.com
I think you'd be a good fit for their programming, and Eran (aka Zax) can help
Avatar 8:15am Yair Yona:

Thanks Fred. will check it right away. We've just finished mastering for our second album Spheres & Constellations and we already have more recordings to release. It's gonna be busy 12 months ;)
Avatar 8:17am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...sorry -just had to sleep in...

- Comment dit-on en Francais?:
- Joyeux Jour de la Bastille!
(...My last name is 'Basso' - but it was 'Bisaillon' a few French generations back...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:17am fred:

The best kind of busy. Do keep me posted, I really like your music
Avatar 8:21am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Rob prob. got it right?:
'Joyeux Le Quatorze Juillet!'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:22am fred:

@RRN63: it's just "quatorze juillet" to us, and we don't really wish anyone anything. At best a day off (not this year though), fireworks (some on that day, some on the day before), and dances that tend to end in drunken fights
Avatar 8:23am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...maybe a bit like the original then?! : )
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:36am fred:

Don't take my drivel too seriously: I grew up with immigrants and don't feel comfortable unless I live in a racially mixed neighborhood. I'm no authority on being French
Avatar 8:37am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

; )
Avatar 8:39am Yair Yona:

Woah, what a great set Thomas
Avatar 8:41am Thomas:

thanks, Yair!
