♥ 9:04am Mike East:...speaking of Timothy Leary, I just remembered I had a dream last night that my wife and I ate acid and transformed into a sort of ape zombie and went on a rampage of the town. Then we turned back to normal and no one knew it was us. 9:06am w41:Mike, thank you for that hint! This version by Nilsson kicks so very much! ♫♪♫ ♥ 9:08am Mike East:right on! That whole album is pretty decent. I'm going to my buddy's house to listen to records tomorrow, I think I'll bring that one. ♥ 9:09am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:...if the FlowerpotMen are majorly impersonating the Byrds it doesn't keep me from ☆ing it!... 9:11am duff:Never heard of the Flowerpot Men, very Byrdsy. 9:14am tomB:didn't realize that Flowerpot Men could emulate Beck & his bolero 9:26am duff:The Byrds still sound incredible all these years later. 9:26am tomB:you're really on a roll Bob 9:50am Bort:Asha Puthli vocal on Ornette track, around the same time she was staring in weird/wonderful Merchant Ivory movie Savages. what a time ♥ 10:03am David in ATL from NJ:What gets said after JB says, "living in America?" It's driving me nuts. 10:18am Berg:great show Bob - cheers from Paris 10:27am mrmucho:They were foreshadowing "Can't you hear me knocking" at one point there 10:28am Paul:Just tuned in,why did Bob play all the Byrds stuff? 10:32am Corinne:Wonderful way to cruise the night. Midnight n' a bit in Sydney. Xx 10:32am Corinne:Wonderful way to cruise the night. Midnight n' a bit in Sydney. Xx ♥ 10:37am Sigurdur:It is abit earlier here on the other side of the sphere. Connected 2 gether with flow.......... .... ... ..... ... .. . . .. .. .. .. ...... .. . ♥ 10:38am Mike Sin:Been enjoying this show today... Bob always delivers.
Strange though -- I guess I'm at that cynical age -- but whenever I hear more than two tracks by the same artist or band in a row on the radio, my first thought is, unfortunately, "What the hell happened? Who died?" I wish I could control that damn morbid thought sequence.
