Greetings from Chicago! Just got in from my Record Store Day adventure. Things could have gone smoother, but overall I got most everything I hoped to get.

I made it out to Numero Group's pop-up shop at Logan Park. For anyone wanting one of the 24 Carat Black 10-inch records that's only available at the pop-up shop they said they'll put any unsold copies up in their online store next week. They were $20 at the pop-up shop. I don't know if they'll be the same price or higher if any copies become available on the webstore. I'm just passing the information along. :)

[reporting from Mulberry St. Library, very nice staff (the clientele, well...). one day, we gotta commandeer the p.c.'s & we all tune into TERRE's show on headphones, bopping our heads like a busby berkely video (oxymoron?) ]. i apologize to terre & wfmu, for walking out of the apt just as X-RAY SPEX started. such low-class music* but of uber-high quality. i had to meet a friend for dinner, then theater (high class but probably low-to-fair quality). carry on without me plz. ------- * i'm making a reference to the program "shake 'em on down" on WNYU. oh, hi EVAN and DANIEL.

If it makes you feel better, it's a not nice day here in Syracuse, NY (though it rarely is). It's like 40 degrees and I'm actually seeing a few snowflakes here and there falling outside my window at the moment.
