Favoriting September 11, 2002: 1970's smooth-talking Frankie Crocker took Harlem-based WBLS to the top spot for the city's young listeners. Crocker offered great diversity and mic style and influened today's jocks immensely. Also, Jean Shepherd's "Ping Pong" from 1963.
