Avatar 12:20pm Diane Kamikaze:

And thanks for making me feel wanted, Cecile!!! :)
Avatar 12:24pm Sem Chumbo:

Attracted by aqua on cobalt, factory farming tunes, and diverse company. Hooked up and listening hard.
Avatar 12:24pm Cecile:

No problem, Diane! You have been killing it all year!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm coe:

Love the Freedom Hawk. DK I'll be up for the first marathon show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm tim from champaign:

Nothing disgusting in my world but tomorrow is Unofficial St Patricks Day for the college kids in my town. Basically, it's an all day drunk for the kids. It's pretty funny. All the Dean Wormers and Portalndia type folks here get all uptight. The college kids are usually really tame.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm coe:

Stigma track is a bit more melotic then I would have thought. I like it. Sad I'm enjoying all of AF's side projects more than AF now adays.
Avatar 12:36pm Pete from Boston (and NJ):

They should start with teaching basic calendar skills next year.
Avatar 12:36pm Cecile:

I hate St. Patrick's Day in St. Paul.
Usually someone passes out next to me on the bus when I ride home from work.
Avatar 12:36pm Jim Devoid:

Nice rawk via Stigma, reminds me of Electric Frankenstein.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm coe:

sorry *melodic
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm coe:

@cecile you have to find a way to have fun with that this year.
Avatar 12:38pm Cecile:

hi, fred, belatedly.
  12:39pm Jim:

Butt Trumpet was awesome live when I saw em..R.I.P Bianca Butthole
Avatar 12:40pm Cecile:

Yeah, I wish Betty Blowtorch could have gome on a little longer - they had promise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm coe:

Poor Bianca :(
  12:41pm Jim:

I don't think that was "I left my flannel in Seattle"..unless there is another version
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm tim from champaign:

Cecile - Yeah, you should mess with the revelers. Write an embarrassing note and put in the the drunk's pocket.
Avatar 12:41pm Cecile:

coe - one year I pretty much shoved the guy into another seat. "I am getting off in two blocks. Go pass out over there."
  12:43pm Cecile:

oooh, tim, that is a great idea about the note. Or a fake traffic ticket.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45pm tim from champaign:

I don't necessarily enjoy all the public drunkenness of the college students but it cracks me up how uptight people get about it. This happens once a year in this town when it occurs every weekend in most other college towns.
Avatar 12:47pm Cecile:

and it occurs less often than when I was going to school as a general rule.
Avatar 12:48pm Droll:

I feel like most major sporting events are equivalent to what you guys describe, except it's dozens of times a year instead of once, and it's typically adults with $300 to blow on the day instead of $30.
Avatar 12:49pm Diane Kamikaze:

Thanks Jim, got it!!! Damn compilations and computer glitches! ALL CLEAR!
Avatar 12:51pm Cecile:

Droll, that is also First Avenue (the street, not the club) on Friday and Saturday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm tim from champaign:

I've been digging on this Golden Void.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:52pm tim from champaign:

I'm going to blow my beer money on WFMU!
Avatar 12:55pm Droll:

Hell, most concerts over 1,500 people are like that! Let's face it, *MY* all-day drinking binges are great at any age, but strangers are annoying at it.
Avatar 12:55pm Cheri Pi:

RRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooar! sorry I'm late, i was lunching.
Avatar 12:55pm Cheri Pi:

I'm forging having children so I can spoil WFMU
Avatar 12:58pm InBrkly:

Live chat is one of the best things about WFMU but it is no good to have this open at work! I wish there was a theme you could apply that made it look like just plain text and neutral colors.
Avatar 12:58pm Cheri Pi:

Puffi Ami Sigh?????
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm tim from champaign:

Agreed Droll!
Avatar 12:59pm Cheri Pi:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:36pm Stevel:

I say. It appears to be a track by that wonderful ban, Voivod!

Avatar 1:36pm Cheri Pi:

Leaping lizards!!! It's VOivod!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:38pm Rich in Washington:

That's freaking awesome! For some reason - I am not sure why - I'd always assumed that Voivod were more of a death metal band. This is pretty cool.
Avatar 1:40pm Droll:

Rich, Welcome to Voivod Club!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42pm Rich in Washington:

Had to look 'em up. I remember seeing something about them decades ago on Canada's Much Music. I must say, I am impressed.
Avatar 1:42pm Cheri Pi:

I need to get the Fury reissue, Hozac-reallly???hozacrecords.com...
Avatar 1:44pm Cecile:

That was an amazing tour.
  1:45pm Frank:

Let's hear some The Jesus Lizard!
Avatar 1:46pm Cheri Pi:

I support Frank's position.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46pm Sugarfly Waterloo:

my intro to Voivod came by the video for Astronomy Domine
  1:47pm Jim:

Avatar 1:48pm Jim Devoid:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:57pm Sigurdur:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:58pm tim from champaign:

The Jesus Lizard is my cure for an earworm. The Lizard works like a champ!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:00pm tim from champaign:

I'm hoping Hozac conjures up a Fury re-union for this years Blackout Fest.
Avatar 2:02pm Jim Devoid:

so, Mccoy is doing Hozac? I used to employ that bum (and I say that in a loving way!)
  2:02pm r i s k y:

This Balata is filthy... Yeah!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:10pm tim from champaign:

I'm really digging the resurgence of glammy sounds like Barreracudas, Mickey. Nobunny, etal.
Avatar 2:14pm Cecile:

does antigama have members from other bands? There are things that sound familiar in it.
Avatar 2:19pm Diane Kamikaze:

Not sure. They are from Poland; think on Relapse
  2:20pm tom lyle:

This entire show is making my big toe swell up in my boot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Diane's shows make a lot of neat things happen.
  2:29pm Jim:

How about some Government Issue? ;)
  2:30pm tom lyle:

Now playing air guitar. What's next? Must. Turn. Up. Volume.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:40pm coe:

Overhang Party way better then the Hangover Party
  2:43pm Jim:

Stigma..when I first heard AF when I was a kid..I thought they called him STINK BOMB the the song "POWER" ..I think that's so much cooler
Avatar 2:43pm Cecile:

Avatar 2:50pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

Was away. Am no longer away. Am here. Rat here. Crap, just missed Paul Revere...
Avatar 2:51pm PKNY:

Avatar 2:59pm Rev. Turnip Druid:

I've found that woven chicken legs can be very decorative but not as functional. Damned chickens keep falling down everywhere.
  3:01pm Jim:

Great show Diane..see ya soon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:01pm Ken From Hyde Park:

OK everyone...bring your piggy banks next week!
Avatar 3:02pm Cecile:

Just about every Raiders song can fit into that category. I myself feel that way about "Louie Come Home."
