  9:23am
doca:

i'm enjoying this brazilian moment, but i always feel strange when i listen to brazilian music here, because i don't listen that much by myself.
  9:24am
doca:

@Scott, do you know anything by clube da esquina? theiy're my brazilian music addiction right now.

I missed the mic break. Is this a new Bardo Pond? (fingers crossed)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:47am
Scott:

  9:47am
DCE:

kris thompson:

too disciplined to be Quicksilver MS, haha
  9:52am
DCE:

that guitar tone kinda tipped the clue. haven't heard this in a long time.
  9:52am
kris thompson:

although this has the feel of parts of QMS' 'Happy Trails' album
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53am
Scott:

totally.
  9:53am
tim from champaign:

Wow, I've never heard Butterfield Blues Band. I always assumed they were hoakie 60s Blues Hammer revivalists. Wooden Shjips style rhythm section with raga guitar. Excellent. Something new to keep my eyes peeled for.
  9:54am
DCE:

I love John Cipollina's guitar playing in QMS...I think their long jams totally rival this one
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:54am
Scott:

Beware tho, this is not exactly a representative cut
  9:55am
DCE:

yeah, tim, most of it IS that way! this is like the only really good thing they did
  9:57am
kris thompson:

I agree... Cipollina was very unique. 'Happy Trails' is loose and excellent
  9:57am
tim from champaign:

Thanks. Good lookin' out, buddies.

  10:09am

I saw some really great free jazz last night...I tell ya, Cleveland has got some hometown heros in that dept
  10:10am
DCE:

...and I've got the hangover to go with it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10am
Scott:

Who was it? Any names?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10am
Scott:

Is Tiger Hatchery from CLE?
  10:14am
DCE:

Tiger Hatchery is pretty much based out of Detroit but they play with some CLEfolk sometimes when they come into town. Last night was Alex Henry/Nate Schieble/? Koderanz trio (horn/drums/bass)...if they ever come your way please see them. I don't think they have any touring plans though.
  10:14am
DCE:

also Jealousy Mountain (Germany) and Clan of the Cave Bear were on the bill. Late night.
