Henri Chopin  "Vibrespace" (CD #1, track 4) (Listen: Pop-up)   Favoriting OU Review  Alga Marghen  This is Chopin's experimental sound poetry journal compilation. This track: wind-swept sounding, warped whisperings from 1963.   
Black Lung/Xingu Hill  "with a tongue of madness" (track 7)(faded out by -2:05) (Listen: Pop-up)   Favoriting The Andronechron Incident (soundtrack)  Ant-Zen  From an experimental Italian science fiction film about mysterious giant egg-shaped objects that appear on the world's oceans, and then various things, including food, start sprouting mechanical attachments and creating problems. Sci-fi, resonant, just a bit menacing.   
Keukhot  "Pois Zagorasta" (track 1) (Listen: Pop-up)   Favoriting Peruskivi Francon Betonia  Ektro  Flat-sounding robo-blues from Finland.   
Fred Frith  "hit and run" (track 2) (Listen: Pop-up)   Favoriting Accidental  Fred  Spare, resonant and guitar oriented piece. It's music for dance, premiered in Israel in 1996.   
Uri Caine/Mahler  "Symphony #1 ("Titan"), 3rd Movement" (track 5) (Listen: Pop-up)   Favoriting Primal Light  Winter & Winter  Starts off slow and quesy, then suddenly becomes klezmer-like before returning to the original theme at the end. Definitely not Mahler's arrangement!
