Good morning Scott
  9:04am DCE:

mornin', Scott. Soggy where you are?
  9:06am DCE:

  9:08am fred:

No way! Hipnosis is so great, I'm always startled on other days when JM in the AM doesn't segue into this
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:09am Scott:

Time for a new theme song??????
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:10am Scott:

Yeah I love it, but my CD skips now!
  9:11am moose:

it's jungly in jersey city but no rain yet
i'm against the idea of new theme song
  9:12am fred:

There are a lot of pristine renditions in the archives by now
  9:14am hamburger:

boo change
  9:15am hamburger:

only an acapella version of hipnosis would do
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:15am Scott:

I need to find a copy of the lp! Maybe that is the solution.
  9:17am DCE:

let the record state, that is the fake DCE, not the real one.
  9:18am hamburger:

wait what? who is the real one?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:20am Scott:

I hid the imposter's comments. I can barely keep up. I'm just a volunteer here.
  9:21am Berg:

did you fire someone recently at wfmu? :)
  9:25am DCE:

it's gonna be a long day, Scott...
  9:27am Cheri Pi:

hey Scott McD! this is awesome!!
  9:27am common:

thanks for unwound...zoning in on my brainwaves!
  9:27am Cheri Pi:

Hang in there to the real slim DCE!
  9:28am Cheri Pi:

Scott-I admire what you did about the imposter.
  9:29am Cheri Pi:

DCE- you should FB me...
  9:31am Cheri Pi:

hahaha....me too! that's not what I meant/ all the wfmu kids are together there.
  9:31am steve from cleve:

I don't know what's real here anymore. This guy has ruined the board already. What a db.
  9:32am Cheri Pi:

Don't worry SfC, we'll get to the bottom of it.
  9:33am common:

i love that rodan record. I played with him once. That sucks. very sad.
  9:38am Cheri Pi:

so sad. no words.
  9:40am doca:

this year has not been any good to some figures from the 90's indie rock scene, cynthia dall has also passed away. that's sad, feels like the passing of a generation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:41am Scott:

Way too soon for that, too!
  9:50am pgw in mntclr:

yeah, i really loved that Rodan album. Jeff Mueller lived in Philadelphia for a little bit, and i got to meet him and Jason. they were both very nice, but i was totally nervous and starstruck around them. Jason will be missed.
  9:50am tim from champaign:

To this day one of my all-time favorite shows was Rodan, 68 Comeback and Rocket From the Crypt in February 1994. It was a blast.
  9:51am Brian in UK:

Hello Scott, looks like you are getting the thick end of it today.
  9:54am B23:

B23 here!
  9:55am Cheri Pi:

B23! In da house!
  10:02am common:

  10:02am pgw in mntclr:

[rocking out in my cubicle]
  10:04am Cheri Pi:

@pgw in mntclr, that makes all of us!!! I just spiked my stapler on the ground.
  10:11am Cheri Pi:

this is so fucking intense.
  10:11am J-Mar:

Just tuning in. Thank you for devoting some time to Jason Noble today. I saw an early version of Rodan play in Louisville, when they were going under a different name. They opened the show by standing behind a big sheet and eating apples in front of the mics. It was awesome. Got to see them play a few times -- awesome folks. He'll be missed.
  10:12am B23:

Yeah I was really digging on Rodan The Everyday World of Bodies
  10:13am steve from cleve:

CP, did you make trips down to Louisville to see any of the great 90s bands?
  10:17am pgw in mntclr:

i always envisioned the drummer just vanishing in a flash of smoke a la Mick Shrimpton at the end of "The Everyday World of Bodies". so many fills and time changes.
  10:25am Cheri Pi:

No SfC, local Cincy band Brainiac played with them a bunch but we never went down to see it. too bad....
  10:30am Cheri Pi:

  10:31am B23:

Oh Devo, you were my first true synthesizer love... you popped my synth cherry.
  10:32am B23:

CP, didn't I give you this LP?
  10:33am Cheri Pi:

YES B23! Can you play this bit on your keyboard???
  10:33am Booji Boy:

  10:35am B23:

well, I suppose I could... I don't spend much time covering other artists, especially ones who do what they do far better than I could.
  10:36am Cheri Pi:

I want to buy the entire Flying Nun catalog.
  10:39am ?:

ahh savory!
  10:39am common:

it's 1993!!
  10:40am Cheri Pi:

I was playing air synth on my desk at work.
  10:40am Chris from DC:

Jawbox! Nice.
  10:45am steve from cleve:

definitely a fav in my camp
  10:48am B23:

CP: Ha, I play actual synths on my laptop at work when I can get away with it. I even have a tiny keyboard that I carry around sometimes.
  10:51am hamburger:

yay big blood - best opening creaks ever
  10:51am hamburger:

  10:57am steve from cleve:

  10:57am steve from cleve:

  11:57am common:
