Listener comments!
Chilli Willi & the Red Hot Peppers?
kat -- aw, so thoughtful. The sun is out now and it looks like it's gonna be a nice one.
My connection keeps dipping out.
After Amanda's show, I will reboot the stream's software and beckon Tech Guru Mike Adler to hold its hand.
Doug, I think it is MY connection.
Yes, Doug, me, too. There's room for more than one Lucinda.
@Doug, I had a feeling you would go for the Catherine Irwin song.
You read me like an iPod!
Pretty busy today, but still listening through the headphones! Great songwriters in this block in particular.
It's the amazing BT-approved and stocked New Bin! Worthy of giving a bear hug, like DJ Jesse!
Hey, it's Jamin of TA80! Nice to see you here!
Thanks Amanda. @John: WFMU sneakers unite!
Loaf reminds me of small clubs in the mid-90s. They were always very friendly.
I think I've been to about 10 concerts in the last year where I was there for the last 10 minutes or less. It's not a good trend. Happened last weekend w/ Talibam!
I posted that Cage/Ra record on the WFMU blog a few months back.
I first saw the Cage/Ra record when DJ Spooky opened up for Kool Keith in Tallahassee, in 1998. He had the album cover between his turntables.
I found one about 7 years ago.
@Skirkie -- in Oregon, yes? That is pretty cool.
This is all the way from '72, but the production and songwriting seem to have influenced "indie" songwriters from the 90s into the present.
Amanda, love the way you play it.
Enjoy, Brian!
Thanks! Take care everyone!
