Listener comments!

  9:09pm RLP:

Tap...tap..is this thing on?
  9:17pm emmagineering:

I need to dig up this Organisation record, this is fantastic...
  9:20pm RLP:

Jeff: Are you playing this from the album (which seems to be almost impossible to find) or from the CD which, I think is a bootleg?
  9:21pm -max-:

Love it!
  9:21pm baran:

I stumbled on a Dj/Rupture show here on wfmu a while ago. Can anyone tell me if thats weekly abd what the show was called?
Avatar 9:22pm jeff-m:

hey all

yeah, it's called Tone Float. It is a bootleg. You should be able to find it. Used to be around a lot.
  9:23pm -max-:

  9:28pm Destroit:

my, my, my. What a pleasant surprise. Hello Jeff, happy to be Syruping.
Avatar 9:32pm jeff-m:

Hi Destroit
  9:38pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

good evening!
  9:40pm Destroit:

Was this programming change announced? A hall of fame curveball departure from the hook. (yeah I idi just drop 3 baseball references in 9 words)
  9:41pm Destroit:

Good evening DCE!
Avatar 9:43pm jeff-m:

She wrote me an email last night. Pseu's not feeling well, etc. No prob with the baseball. Go Mets :)
  9:47pm Destroit:

Get well Pseu. Frankly, if I was sick, your show would be a great tonic. Riding a cough syrup wave fading in and out of sleep.
  9:48pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

haha, ride that wave, man!
  9:53pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

killer set, jeff-m
  9:57pm Destroit:

I just cranked back 5 shots of 'tussin and im feeling heavy
  10:13pm emmagineering:

That heavy wing thing reminded me a little of Mainliner. I need to dig that one out again.
  10:43pm Destroit:

Awesome live stuff. Any live Robert rich?
Avatar 10:50pm jeff-m:

probably have some in the Library. Don't know his stuff too much...

have to say I've never heard Mainliner though I should have by now I guess. Got lost on the list of stuff to hear long time ago.
  10:56pm Destroit:

Check him out, he's right up your alley and has an infinite catalogue. A few years ago, he performed at a planetarium at the Detroit science center. Picture 200 people, chairs laid back as far as possible, staring into a planetarium, listening to music you like. Fun. Great show Jeff,
  11:04pm Destroit:

Rapoon track was wonderful
Avatar 11:12pm jeff-m:

I will check him out. I know he's one of these " godfather' of ambient music types. I'm sure I will dig it. Nice place to see him perform too
Avatar 11:17pm jeff-m:

was looking at the Rapoon site

him performing at the station made the photo section :)

(bottom right - pic from looking down from above)
that's our live room here at the station
Avatar 11:18pm jeff-m:

i guess it's more of a getting ready to perform / setting up photo
  11:24pm Destroit:

My kind of show.
  11:26pm Old Rev:

Thank you for this. Wonderful.
Avatar 11:29pm jeff-m:

you're very welcome
  11:40pm Ike:

I also dig it. DIG.
  11:47pm Ken of Brooklyn:

Avatar 11:54pm jeff-m:

  11:56pm Destroit:

Thank you Jeff. Seems I stumble upon you show when you're pinch hitting for someone, but it's always spectacular. Thanks again!
