  3:23am
james t:

how about you playing one of Mark McGowans videos? you have to check for rude words.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c23VipjXlvQ
  3:28am
Nat:

I'll check it out, maybe can fit it in later in this show! Thanks for the suggestion.
  3:29am
fred:

Well, the sound wasn't good enough, some of the guitar loops were lost. They played shortish versions (by their standards), there must have been like 6 or 7 in a 50 minutes set, instead of the usual 3. I think they were better the other times (that was my 4th) but I liked that they're moving on to other things, and the noise end was really cool. And anyway the drummer remains just as amazing and relentless.
  3:35am
Nat:

Yeah, they're definitely into new territory.

Live sound...yeaaahhhh....live sound. Hard. Especially when you've got like 13 different pedals.
  3:38am
Sam:

Yo Nat, this is totally awesome.
Thanks
  3:39am
Nat:

Thankssssss
  3:42am
fred:

Well, it was fine the other times, and the first was where Lucas played last month, without a sound check because they had come very late. Maybe part of the problem was that some loops were prerecorded, adding another source to the mix.
As much as I love Destination Tokyo and Fan, I'm happy that their trying something else, and a couple different somethings at that. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for the news about Medium Is The Massage. I played the whole thing on a Chill Room not too long ago, and I agree about its importance. And by the way, I kinda like We Built This City too, no matter what the P.C. opinion is. Always love your collages, man.
