Sue, did you change your playlist colors? I could be wrong but I think you did. If so, please change your playlist colors back to the way they were or to something less difficult to read! Does ANYONE agree with me? Speak up or this is the way it will be.
  1:07am
SueP:

@Tony - I'll tweak them a bit. They are actually different every week!
  1:12am
(mta) Tony:

Thanks, I thought so, but this is the worst. I actually had to place my eyeball against my screen just to read your reply. It's really difficult.
  1:13am
(mta) Tony:

Ah, better already a bit. Thanks!

SueP:

All monitors are different so thanks for letting me know!

Cool now. I appreciate it, too.

OK, I'll say that the Sue's positve commentary about ABC No Rio will make me reconsider what I've thought of the place, because I trust her. As someone who's been to shows there, has booked shows in the city for 15 years, and runs sound in a couple of venues, it's been a place I wouldn't miss for a moment if it disappeared. My impression has been a bunch of mistakenly arrogant ignorant a-holes who I want nothing to do with if I can avoid it. But you see the place as a resouce, OK, I'll try to re-open my mind.
  1:57am
SueP:

@bleibtreu - I will not try to argue with you as it sounds like your opinions are based on your own knowledge and experience. I will say that, over the years, I have seen many good bands there and they have been a haven for some interesting artists of all stripes. It's always been a dump and maybe that will finally be remedied.
  2:02am
bleibtreu:

My criticisms will have nothing to do with the "dump" part. I've worked and played and in my share of those and still do. Some of my favorite places, That may be the one thing they shouldn't change.
  2:03am
SueP:

Ha ha! Touché.

Greetings from rainy Athens, Greece

bleibtreu:

But we have no argument. Just as I said, your positive comments about the place and their scene tells me that perhaps I should keep my mind open for a bit longer.
  2:52am
bleibtreu:

On a whole different topic, I am usually working now so rarely get to listen during this spot... but when I do, it's always like tonight just damn spectacular.
  2:54am
SueP:

Thanks!

Tim:

Awesome crossover vibe on that Sewer Puppet stuff. Reminds me of “Force Fed” era Prong or Septic Death or something. Tendorizer reminds me of Powermad. I’ll have to check out both these bands more extensively. Great show as always Sue!!

"Originally out in 1990" - well I guess that explains it! haha
