howdy all and happy tuesday!
  6:03pm ndbob:

evening Doug!
  6:03pm Carmichael:

Hiya, Doug!
  6:03pm glenn:

the snare is assembling,
  6:04pm Drummer Some:

LJFW, ndbob, Carmichael & glenn, you all look lovely with your floral housedresses just so!
  6:05pm jill:

checking in. sad news about Phoebe Snow passing today
  6:05pm Drummer Some:

"The urge to merge with the splurge of the spring..." Fucking fantastic!
  6:06pm glenn:

wow. phoebe snow and poly styrene dying on the same day.
  6:06pm listener james from westwood:

i didn't take out the curlers...hope nobody's got a problem wit dat (drags folding chair out onto the porch)
  6:06pm ndbob:

Yep... spring has even come here - sort of.
  6:06pm Parq:

Phoebe Snow and Polly Styrene the same day -- I picture them giving each other dirty looks while waiting on line at the Pearly Gates.
  6:07pm glenn:

floral housedresses go perfectly fine with a can of beer and a big stogie.
  6:07pm ndbob:

Yep Glenn.
  6:08pm Drummer Some:

No no. Poly Styrene would give Phoebe a big hug and thank her for being such a wonderful mother. Bless them both.
  6:08pm charlie:

Hey Bob, we had snow here (in VT) last Saturday. Warm today though.
  6:09pm charlie:

Doug, I agree about Poly & Phoebe. And I dig the early Ella.
  6:09pm Amanda:

I was in Washington Square Park most of the day... a festival of fashionable NYU kids trying out their summer finery. Too nice out to even complain about NYU kids. Hi Charlie!
  6:10pm jill:

you are truly a glass half-full kinda guy, drummer!
  6:10pm ndbob:

Hi Charlie!
  6:11pm Drummer Some:

Much as I'd like to be all dark and moody, JIll, I just can't shake this incurable optimism.
  6:11pm charlie:

Hi Amanda! Are you all set for tomorrow's show? Is it live, or pre-recorded?
  6:13pm Amanda:

Pre-recorded, but there will be a lively illustrated accu-playlist! I'm excited/nervous/mainly excited.
  6:14pm Drummer Some:

I'll love it when streammates talk shop!
  6:14pm ndbob:

Your preview show was excellent Amanda.
  6:15pm Amanda:

We need to have a teleconference sometime... why thank you ndbob!

I am getting so swoony over this Nina Simone. Well done.
  6:16pm charlie:

I enjoyed the show too. I hope you keep singing!
  6:19pm Parq:

Well, I hope you guys are right, though my dim view of human nature ("Your music was boring!" "Your music was nothing but noise!") leaves me less than confident. Still, come to think of it, I would hope that we leave all that baggae behind when we take the big trip. Snow was a heroic mom, that's for sure.
  6:19pm glenn:

i'm swapping my snow tires for my regular tires tomorrow, so i'm pretty sure winter's done.
  6:20pm glenn:

not phoebe snow tires, either.
  6:21pm Amanda:

@Charlie -- I'm interested to hear your LIVE shows when they start happening. We'll all be live soon enough.

@glenn, I took my winter coat off for the last time yesterday and then burned it and cooked a hot dog over it. SPRING!
  6:22pm listener james from westwood:

i love the smell of gore-tex in the morning. smells like ... victory. (and hot dogs)
  6:23pm Carmichael:

I also look forward to your next show, Amanda, pre-recorded or not. Doug, I can only hang another 10 minutes or so before I go to discount pint night at the local micro brew. We agreed on Brian's board that we'd all go compromise our sobriety tomight.
  6:23pm annie:

slow night tonight at the inn... believe it or not i'm listening... although.... the elephant in the room may scare them away
  6:23pm Drummer Some:

If only Gore had won Texas. (If only Gore had won frickin Tennessee.)
  6:25pm listener james from westwood:

excellent pun! nightmare election, but excellent pun.
  6:25pm glenn:

if only the florida court wasn't getting hummers under the table from all the republican whores.
  6:28pm annie:

hey carm , tip one for me, eh?
  6:29pm Drummer Some:

So lovely to have you in the evening drum circle, Annie!
  6:29pm Carmichael:

  6:56pm owel:

  6:57pm monica:

  6:58pm Drummer Some:

Owel, I will make it a priority.

Mwah to you, Monica!
  6:58pm ndbob:
