pierre:

Bonjour from Paris !
great show ! Thank you.
marriage proposal on internet are the most romantic ones
  11:14am
pierre:

by the way the track you are playing (from San(s) Kazakgscar Solo) is called "The Switchbacks Are Crumbling", that's what i've just found out.
  11:28am
Liz B.:

Thanks for the info, Pierre!
  11:31am
pierre:

You are more than welcome, thank you for the show.
  11:38am
dave:

1-bit symphony is just amazing, especially the last track. perich is a genius.
  11:40am
Happy Listener:

The Tron Legacy movie was very pretty, and very flawed. The soundtrack is neither visionary, nor particularly impressive. Don't believe the hype!
  11:42am
Liz B.:

Didn't see the movie, but I've gotta agree with you on the soundtrack! These 2 songs are part of a mini set of morbid curiosities!
  11:43am
dave:

they should've gone the opposite direction with tron legacy: atari 2600-quality CGI, and music by tristan perich. if you're going to strip-mine people's nostalgia, you might as well go whole-hog.
  11:44am
Liz B.:

I'm with you on that, Dave!
  11:45am
Happy Listener:

@dave: I just thought that all the music "journalists" raving about the incredible soundtrack was a bit much. Something between Wendy Carlos and Daft Punk would have been a decent soundtrack, but all we got was Daft Punk through an some arranger's schmuck's filter. It's all bombastic brass washes with boomy drums. No tension, release, or complexity... Lame.
  11:46am
marty:

south park tron was better
  11:49am
Happy Listener:

Which is your other "morbid curiosity" track, Liz?
  11:50am
Liz B.:

Gang of Four (new record)!
  11:53am
Happy Listener:

It's been a long wait, eh? They're one of the few UK post-punk acts I didn't really get into.
  11:57am
Happy Listener:

No need to apologize! Play what you want. My grumbling is barely a drop in the bucket.
