A buddy of mind got one of those emails from Amazon last week, for a small-press limited edition by Cherie Priest (who's very not dead) that is out of print at the source. I suspect it's just an algorithm that checks for people they've sold to when the Used price hits a certain multiple of the cover price. Kinda stupid since the user can look at their site & figure out just how screwed over the arbitrage is.
