Can we have a binding nationwide vote to replace a popular Christmas song (which one?) with that Father Christmas track?
  11:16am
Liz B.:

If only, Still B/P! I wish!
  11:23am
dc pat:

I vote yes. (As long as we don't replace Good King Wenceslas...but that's not really an Xmas tune anyway).
  11:27am
Ike:

Destroy all popular Xmas songs! And replace them with songs played on Liz's show!
  11:29am
dc pat:

We need a song about giant Yule Goats: http://www.julbockmedipv6ochdnssec.se/kamera1/
  11:30am
Chris from DC:

Just keep playing Robedoor. Works for me.
  11:32am
Ken:

Hi Liz - Sorry to bug you during your show. Tried calling. Robot keeps calling me, terminal room is overheating. 87 degrees.
  11:34am
Liz B.:

Hey Ken, yeah, I opened the door to let the heat escape but I don't have time to run up and grab the thermostat key to turn the heat off. It's at 68 so the heat should be off anyway.
  11:35am
dc pat:

GOD DAMN YOU FEKKIN ROBOTS!!! LEAVE KEN ALONE!!
  11:37am
Ken:

Fuck. Mark left? It is way overheating.
  11:38am
Ken:

Please run into the terminal room and turn off the light switch on the boiler to turn the whole system off
  11:38am
Robot:

Liz, go grab key. Liz, go grab key. Liz, go grab key.
  11:43am
Ken:

Key not needed. Just flip the kill switch inside the boiler room.
  11:43am
Liz B.:

It's been off because the thermostat is now up to temp. The terminal room is cooling down.
  11:46am
Roboto:

Muchas gracias, Liz. Muchas gracias, Liz.

Bueno show hoy. Bueno show hoy.
  11:46am
dc pat:

ok, now that the catastrophe has been averted, what is the "terminal room?" and I sure hope my pledges went to those robots, any pictures of them? GOD, I love robots...
  11:48am
Robot 2:

Now Liz, about that pod bay door....
  11:49am
Robot 3:

just what do you think you're doing, Liz?
  11:49am
Ken:

Thanks Liz! will followup after Noon via text
  11:49am
Liz B.:

The terminal room is where all of the magical broadcast equipment lives in the WFMU studio building. So it's bad when that room overheats. Real bad. Our robot is a piece of rack equipment who has a lady voice over the phone.
  11:50am
Robot 4:

Please to give the robot a Listener Hour, please.
  11:50am
dc pat:

OOOoooooo, lady robots!! Even better. And a "rack" too!! Man.
  11:52am
dc pat:

as you can see, I'm bored at work today.
  11:52am
Liz B.:

Our lady robot likes to call at inappropriate times, like in the middle of the night or during one's radio show. We should give her a listener hour one of these days...
  11:53am
dc pat:

please put lady robot on the air.
  11:53am
Ike:

Never mind the boring truth; maybe WFMU should challenge artists to depict the lady robot for a new T-shirt or robot-themed swag (or something like that)? A contest or something? Am I crazy? (Don't answer that.)
  11:55am
dc pat:

yes! Lady Robot t-shirt. I have a bunch of robot-destroying-city paintings sitting around. When my daughter and I paint, I do robots.
  11:56am
Robot 4:

I'm with Ike. First a naming contest, then some form of swag contest. To whom do we send the petition?
  11:57am
Ike:

DC Punk, somebody put one of the phone robots on the air maybe about 10 years ago. It was an incredibly aggravating (male) voice. Like *really* annoying.
  11:58am
Ken:

Yeah, that was the old male robot, What an asshole. The new lady robot is much cooler.
  11:58am
dc pat:

I'm painting a Lady Robot busting through the WFMU letters.

(sp)Ike: I think I remember that, glad they have Lady Robot now.
  12:00pm
Robot 4:

This will be the Century of the Lady Robot.
  12:01pm
Ike:

@Ken LOL
  12:01pm
Lady Robot:

Why don'tcha come up and see me some time?....(she does sound like Mae West doesn't she?)
  12:03pm
dc pat:

typical, Lady Robot always calling but doesn't pick up when you call her!
  8:53pm
Michael Gregoire:

Sweet! Liz, thanks for the Tha Silent Partner spin.
