3:07pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

Roxanne Shante, Jean Grae, Apani.....some of my favorite female emcees
3:17pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

Question for Melissa Czarnik: What's the Hip Hop scene like in Milwaukee?
  3:33pm Cecile:

Who was the female MC on Mr. V's "Da Bump"? a while back? She was amazing.
  3:38pm mb:

I always thought Rah D never got the respect she deserved. a thought,
3:39pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

I agree with you mb.
  4:06pm B9CC1D:

Agreed with Rah Digga...while the masses focus on the "new", until you look at someone's history you have no idea if they actually had impact or if they were just a flash in the pan.
  4:08pm Cecile:

I haven't heard Rah Digga's music, but I like her no-BS, straightforward way of talking.
4:14pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

I gotta pick up her new album!
  4:17pm B9CC1D:

Rah: Forget Mickey D's! I'll cook burgers for ya!
  4:18pm Cheri Pi:

I'm a new fan of Rah Digga too!
4:20pm ALF of Hip Hop Slam:

Don't do the Mickey D's Rah Digga! http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20101012/bs_yblog_upshot/mcdonalds-happy-meal-resists-decomposition-for-six-months
  4:28pm Cecile:

Melissa, do you every play Minneapolis?
  4:33pm Cecile:

Speech sounds like Nolay who did a great track with High Contrast called Angels and Fly. If you have it floating around somewhere, Billy...
  4:37pm B9CC1D:

Awesome show. Great music and a great philosophy behind it.
  4:41pm Mike East:

  4:56pm Cecile:

Yo-Yo is awesome. I remember when they gave her a makeover on "how Do I Look? and she loved it so much that she wrote a theme song for the show they used for years.
  4:58pm Cheri Pi:

I love that show, How do I look! I'm worried I may end up on it one day, I'll hunt for the YoYo episode.
  5:02pm Cecile:

It's an old ep with Finola Hughes.
  5:13pm Timi Dz Nutz:

Can't hear any of this today...but will blast this tomorrow morning. Love the Ladies who throw it down....
  5:15pm Timi Dz Nutz:

  5:22pm Cecile:

I remember when MC Lyte was trying out for "The It Factor" in the early 00s, and almost got to be one of the finalists. It was the series that tracked starving actors in LA. You might remember a couple of its alumni - LisaRaye and Jeremy Renner...
  5:37pm B9CC1D:

  5:43pm foxy brown:
