jabladav:

ken of brooklyn... I learned today that brooklyn water was a major part of making a great bagel. I have been asked to make NC water like Brooklyn water. Maybe the oddest thing I have been asked to do to date. Lausanne was great.
  8:50pm
ken of brooklyn:

jabladav, it is, good luck, I'd love to hear your final recipe,,,, try one part attitude, one part survival to one part multicultural big heart!! Rawk on Southern bagelsmith!!
  8:51pm
jabladav:

WB- linkage to drunkdriver? They are worthy of my coin.
  8:53pm
ken of brooklyn:

YES, Drunkdriver rules! There's an lp split w Mattin called list of profound insecurities,,,,,,, looking for more stuff tho, Wm???
  8:54pm
jabladav:

PH is the key. that is what makes the soft/hard texture. Trust me, I will give them the black metal attitude and a elevated PH!

Whats the screenshot from Wm?
  8:56pm

Enteral Silence Within is the best Marblebog song,,,ever
  8:58pm
dw:

Weirdness abounds, I had Lausanne on the brain today too, went there some years ago.
  9:00pm
Wm.:

DD album unreleased thus far, but they have another full length, and they're on MySpace. The still is from Michele Soavi's The Church, a Dario Argento production...1989 or '90.
  9:00pm
dw:

Load have a Drinkdriver lp coming up, that's what was said when Brian interviewed them at SXSW broadcast.
  9:02pm
dw:

Of course I meant Drunkdriver, I blunder.
  9:02pm
wolf blitzer:

willi.i.am, how you pull this off week after week is beyond me. bravo, sir.
  9:03pm
RISKY:

GO WILL! TEAR EM UP!

AKITSA RULES THE SHIT!
  9:05pm
apfEID:

drunkdriver album is not being released on Load because it turns out their drummer is sketchy as fuck and has a history of sexually assaulting women; same reason they broke up.
  9:07pm
SiHV:

Tuning in just in time.
  9:10pm
Wm.:

DD album is the best punk record I've heard in many, many years and it deserves to come out, regardless of one member's misadventures; no reason the other two should suffer for his crimes!
  9:17pm
apfEID:

Yeah, but no one should book any band with Jeremy (he's also in pygmy shrews) to play live anywhere; he was kicked out of a previous band mid-tour for raping someone; there are many stories about Jeremy's severe sketchiness over the net, this isn't just based on one incident. I loved DD but I'm very glad Berdan manned up and broke up the band when everything blew up last month. In this day of mp3s and flac, there's no reason for a label to waste money on pressing this record.

This of course is not the best forum to discuss this shit in...
  9:22pm
Wm.:

Please let's drop it; all I care is that someone made a great record.
  9:24pm
Wm.:

There are other guys that play a decent trap set, I might add.
  9:27pm
apfEID:

Yeah; it's one of those situations where the band can't replace a member and can't reconcile (only the vocalist left the band), so they had to end. Oh well. Berdan will do more great shit in the future, I'm sure.
  9:29pm
SiHV:

Awesome! Clapclapclapclapclap.
  9:29pm
apfEID:

awesome set.
  9:29pm

  9:38pm

  9:40pm

EID gives meaning to my subwoofer's existance
  9:44pm
don:

  9:46pm
apfEID:

thx yall
  10:02pm
fatty jubbo:

nice obscure joe franklin reference. all i can think of is that picture they used as a show bumper of his troll like head popping out of the roof of the limo...instead it's wm. berger crusing down the streets of jersey city with some noise dudes.

when someone first told me about joe frank...i was like, 'who? joe franklin? you like that fucking guy?"
  10:03pm
m9:

The Quintet is amazing. Any gigs soon in nyc area?
  10:07pm
fatty jubbo:

obscure as in Joe Franklin being a very tri-state specific show...
  10:17pm
Andrea:

Good stuff Steven!!!!!
  10:17pm

  10:18pm

  10:27pm

Sweetly sad, eerily monumental ... from Jon Hassell swamp nightmares into spaghetti-western Elysian fields...
  10:28pm
SiHV:

Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in vitreous humor.
  10:31pm
apfEID:

  10:35pm
