Aaahh, soothing music for late hours at work :)
  12:31pm
bartelby:

even the abyssmal air quality and pollen can't spoil your show
  12:33pm
Cecile:

Good afternoon. Glad I made it back w/o missing too much of your show, Maris.
  12:33pm
markkk:

happy half b'day, Maria ;)

Day for Night Ver. 49.5
  12:48pm
osvi:

Wednesday already? Good to hear ya, Maria! Me gusta mucho!
  12:54pm
Carmichael:

Hi Maria. Sticking my head in the radio door for a few minutes between meetings.

Yay for Pete Wingfield!
  1:00pm
Cecile:

I was so back there. Urgh.
  1:05pm
Cecile:

That's how it was with typewriters, too.

Just work on stretching your pinkie.
  1:06pm
Blame_IBM:

That's why I pry off all cap-lock keys I encounter!
  1:07pm
maria:

Pauldepppp- shorten your user name please? on this end it messes things up on the comments thanks.

and yes Cecile but the problem is I always hit the wrong key and then when I hit the shift key it does the opposite oy
  1:09pm
BSI:

I dunno about any other old farts out there but having learned typing on a giant office-size Olympia typewriter (and having done much time with manual machines), I still find it easier to type on those vs. any computer keyboard.
  1:10pm
BSI:

and don't get me started on those split (so-called) "ergonomic" keyboards of the '90s...... whoever invented THEM sumbitches needs very harsh treatment indeed.
  1:12pm
Cecile:

I can type on anything with a keyboard.
I'm a woman of a certain age...
  1:12pm
maria:

yes BSI we shall have to devise special punishments for them all- such as removing their fingers at the knuckles, or something like that
  1:19pm
Cecile:

No, give them magical manicures that they actually care about that will chip constantly if they type. And then also give them a maniacal compulsion to type. That way they will type and weep until the end of time.
  1:30pm
annie:

i use all lower case now cause i am allergic to the caps lock button.always push that instead of shift

  1:42pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

I pulled this record off the shelf a few months back (ELO)...not good, but this is one of the better tunes.
  1:42pm
bartelby:

has anyone tried at Dvorak keyboard? Querty keyboards were designed to slow the typist down so as not to have the keys locking up on manual typewriters. Dvorak is designed for quickes access to the most used letters and can be quite a bit quckier,
  1:44pm
BSI:

yeh, chris... and they promised us flying cars and buxom robots by now, dammit.
..... as for ELO, the TIME album ('81) is an oft-overlooked classick, if a bit cheesy in spots.
  1:47pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

yeah, BSI, I remember my mom playing that quite a bit as a young lad...have to dig through her rekkid collection sometime...
  1:48pm
bartelby:

most computers will allow you to swtch to a Dvorak configuration easily, then you just have purchase the little letter stickers to put on your keyboard. Not that I have bothered. Those boomerang keyboards, well they're great if you have reason to withhold work from the boss but as far as typing for itself,, not so good.
  2:10pm
chris:

cabbage head man! Why is it every time I hear Serge, I want to have a smoke?
  2:14pm
Frédéric:

ça fait 20 minutes que je connais votre radio et je tombe sur Serge...y a d'autre français ici?
  2:21pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

Charlotte ain't bad neither!
  2:21pm
Looms:

Bonjour Serge. WFMU est écouté à travers le monde pour la grande qualité et l'éclectisme de ses émissions ; tu trouveras certainement d'autres français à l'écoute.
  2:22pm
slugluv1313:

  2:22pm
Looms:
