Listener comments!

Kat:

this is giving me chills. the good kind.
  11:52pm
frenchee:

HA HA HA, I am "somebody!" Hatch, you do look a bit like Harry Nilsson. But there's somebody else, some 70s experimento movie type, I just can't quite put my finger on it. Trent is so much better than Magnum...Rory Cochrun maybe?
  11:56pm
frenchee:

not Rory Cochrane--I meant Rory GALLAGHER.
  12:02am
Hatch:

You're thinking of David Hemmings, perhaps?
  12:08am
Taylor:

This is what I WISH I'd been rockin' out to on a cassette in 1982. If I'd only known it existed. The noises never made it to Idaho. If you spun "AEIOU Sometimes Y" by EBN-OZN it'd make my evening
  12:14am
Hatch:

I'll see if I can find it... I played a song with similar lyrics a few weeks back "IOU" by Freeez.
  12:55am
Betsy:

Hatch, that 3 Titans College track RULED! Really enjoying the show.
  12:58am
Hatch:

Why thank you Betsy. There's really nothing better than lil' kids rapping, huh?
  1:00am
Betsy:

True dat.

(mta) Tony:

Good morning, Rob, I'm glad to be listening. Can YOU (or anyone reading) help me? I've got a website that lists CDs I've produced consisting of mostly all-Americana rock. I offered to send a new acquaintance any title as a gift. Problem: She's a 51 year old woman originally from Russia who loves music, but due to her ignorance, isn't familiar with American-made rock so she asked ME to pick something to send her! I don't want to send her something she may not. Do you (or anyone) have an idea of what music I might find in my library of 7,000 CDs of something from Russia, or something with Russian lyrics, or a great Russian group FMU may have played a lot of? ANY songs with Russian lyrics would be great, so can anyone recommend anything to me?
  1:49am
Hatch:

Gonna have to ponder that one Tony. You might want to ask our resident expert on all things Russian, Daniel Blumin.
  1:51am
(mta) Tony:

Good tip, Rob, thanks; I will ask him as you suggested. I just want to send her something she could understand and hopefully enjoy.
  1:54am
(mta) Tony:

Thanks Rob, but before I ask him, I'll examine his list of the artists he's played and see if anything obvious stands out. I hope he has that list available as so many other DJs have.
