Listener comments!

  2:02am
JT:

fucking Scientists! quality.
  2:29am
Pieter:

Good morning Sue P. Good morning all
  2:31am
Wm.:

I got out of bed just to tell you that this long noise-psych track you're playing is absolutely incredible...not even sure if it's XYX or Holy Cobras, as the music may have changed while I stumbled over to the computer....
  2:36am
Ergänzt:

Good Morning Sue P. Glad you're back, Guess I won't be makin' it to work on time this week...¡¡¡Let's hear it for Noise and Kaffee!!!
  2:39am
SueP:

Good morning, y'all. Well, except Wm. Goodnight to you!
  3:51am
Toronto Jim:

Just got here, and see there's not a single comment since 2:39. It's now 3:48. Perhaps no one at all is listening. The song currently on would help to explain the mass exodus from WFMU just now. But I'm a'gonna wait for a few "tunes" before I make up my mind. That's how much faith I have in good Sue P. (Sales). No offense to anyone. Not sure I like it. We'll see...
  3:56am
Pieter:

Speaking for myself: I'm just enjoying the relaxed feeling this music is giving and don't want too interrupt the active listening too much by typing here ...
  3:56am
Toronto Jim:

This "Final" thing is rather true to the band's monicker -- kind of "final." It makes me sleepy, which may be very good for the moment. Doesn't sound so much like a "tune' though -- more like a "collective studio wank."
  3:58am
SueP:

Final is Justin Brodrick of Godflesh and Jesu. This record is rather soundscape-y but I have a place for that in my heart.
  4:00am
Toronto Jim:

Fair play to Pieter, and tyo Sue P., however. (And Sue, "soundscapey" is an apt descriptive -- it even makes it more palatable for me! I'm just not sure that I like it myself. Still going to hang on for a few. No typing required from any of the listener(s).
  4:00am
Pieter:

The Final song has a 'very-slow-lovemaking' feel to it for what I think.
Which is bit disturbing being at the office now ...
  4:02am
Toronto Jim:

Aorry, Pieter -- didn't quite get your 3 posts. What kind of feel does it have?

(My computer also burped when I tried to post!)
  4:03am
Toronto Jim:

Hod! I zeem to be dyping like zhit!
  4:06am
Toronto Jim:

Who are "Quttinirpaaq"? That's got to be an Inuktitut word -- yes? Meaning what?
  4:08am
SueP:

Quttinirpaaq is a one-man band from Austin, TX. Not sure where the word comes from or what it means or even if it is a real word!
  4:09am
Pieter:

Rephrasing it a bit I mean it sounded like nice music to put on when very slowly making love to someone.
and yeah, posting system went crazy there for a moment it would seem
  4:11am
Pieter:

Quttinirpaaq means "top of the world". apparently
  4:13am
Toronto Jim:

Ever made love to someone REALLY fast, like to say, "White Riot" by Clash, or "Nazi Punks Fuck Off" by the DKs?

...Me neither.
  4:15am
Toronto Jim:

"Top of the world?" Thatnks, Pieter! I cannot find an Inuktitut translation site at all. But I'd swear the word is from the Inuit! (Fancy that: an Austin, TX guy who digs thye language of the far north! Go figure...)
  4:19am
Toronto Jim:

Inuktitut can be tough -- dig this scandal that just erupted the other day up here in Canada:

The PM, Stephen Harper (asshole), was up there in Iqaluit, the capital of Nunavut, but his press release said "Iqualuit" (with an extra "Q"). Turns out THAT word means "people with unwiped asses." NO JOKE! It's true, and the PM's handlers had to scramble to fix things, kinda like Obama's people after that "Cambridge, MA cops acted 'stupidly'" comment!
  4:21am
Toronto Jim:

Aorry -- meant that his press release word had an extra "U", not "Q". Hope no Inuit are listening -- god knows what I just implied in my last post! ("People with small dicks who are incapable of even wanking," perhaps?)
  4:25am
Toronto Jim:

Okay, Soupy -- this stuff, all in all, ain't that bad at all! I'm staying on for a while...
  4:27am
SueP:

Ha! Thanks for the entertaining news from Up North.
  4:36am
Toronto Jim:

Okay -- "Pissed Jeans" has got to be my new favourite band name this week!
  5:32am
DOGBOY:

hey baby good tunez to rise to
  5:38am
DOGBOY:

i was gonna ask do u have puffy areolas //////well do you
  5:43am
SueP:

Yes...you can hear that on the archive later if you're curious!
  7:36pm
Justin:

Hey Sue, I play guitar in Ancestors. Thanks for playing us on your show! You play some great stuff...it's cool to be included.
