I think "YKK" would have been a better title for this track.

We could -- although we shouldn't, and won't! -- try another group-mind/chicken game in which we try to count to twenty in order by individual entries without duplication. A repeated number requires a restart. It could drive us and some of the comment-disdaining staff-members maaaad!

Hey Jorge, random food question. Do they have huaraches, sopes, huitlacoche, and papas rellenos in Spain or are those strictly eaten on the WFMU side of the ocean?

http://tinyurl.com/huaracheredhook

"I really like books. Hey, where are you going?" HA!
  2:15pm
GP:

This Togetherness song sounds like a soundtrack for a trippy 70's after school special about skateboarding friends or something.....it also sounds very cool.
  2:15pm
Cecile:

Okay, this is totally going in a mix with Hall and Oates, FoTC, Todd Rundgren and Tony Toni Tone's goofier songs.

you are still there??!! heh - just had lunch, did work, glad I still get some LB time
  2:43pm
Liz B.:

Hey BW, I'm still heeeeeerrrre!
  2:43pm
jorge:

really sorry Ike i was not looking at the messages, well the food youre talking about sounds more southamerica oriented, anyway you have some yummy peruvian restaurants here, and i have to say that some spanish food are delicious (and i dont eat meat just for the record lol )
  2:48pm
GP:

Liz, are you wearing your DEVO hat?
  2:51pm
Ike:

Thanks, Jorge. I wasn't sure if those were strictly Latin American foods or if they were bicontinental. Is it hard to be a vegetarian in Spain? I usually think of Spanish-speaking countries as being very meat-oriented.
  2:52pm
Bo:

Kaht Lahot?? what language is this? great!!!
  2:53pm
Jorge:

yeah ike is very hard, in spain everything is pork oriented and meat oriented also in southamerica but well you have more vegetables there i guess, is hard but no impossible.
  2:54pm
Cecile:

you have olives and cheese and good bread and wine and peppers
that helps a little I'd bet
  2:54pm
Liz B.:

Kaht Lahot was in Khmer (Cambodian), this album is full of schoolkids from Phnom Penh rapping, great!
  2:55pm
dc pat:

hey Jorge, it's getting really easy to be a vegetarian over here--in cities anyway. Don't you have lots of options in the cities?
  2:56pm
dc pat:

that was great Liz. Do you have that Brazilian tune with the kid rapping?
  2:58pm
Ryan B:

Hey Liz- good to hear you representin' Thailand. You have anything by Slot Machine by any chance?
  2:58pm
annie:

15
  2:59pm
dc pat:

16
  2:59pm
dc pat:

well dc is kinda easy in most of europe (i love brussels cause theyre almost no meat oriented lol) but spain still is a hard country to handle with the no meat hting, Barcelona is very international though, you have vegetarian restaurants but still have this kinda feeling of look at vegetarians like people who want to be healthy and in good shape.
  2:59pm
Ike:

I haven't been able to give up meat, but I don't cook it myself at home. That's my compromise. But Thai food isn't really Thai food without fish sauce and I love strange ethnic cuisines which often have meat hidden in them so I can't become 100% vegetarian.
  3:02pm
cecile:

I can do less meat, not meatless.
  3:03pm
Ike:

Oooh, I like that, Cecile. I'm adopting that phrase. Concise.

Hmm I think that was Jorge and not DC Pat at 2:59.

Thanks, Liz, for a great show!
