	9:57am JJZ: Suburban Chicago had record turnout too. In 2004 there were about 3 people including me at the time I went, and today there was about 20. Some of them younger people. And the majority of the election judges were young people too.

	9:59am PMD: Thankfully I only spent 15 minutes in Virginia. Interesting they had paper ballots here as well as electronic voting.
	10:00am Doug in DC: In Fairfax, VA, the longest lines I've seen at the polls, and the longest wait. I got through really quickly though, because my last name was in the P-Z range, and there was an alphabetic imbalance. I used the paper ballot.

	10:00am Cecile: JJZ, yes! on the younger election judges. A local high school kid was getting trained in as a judge intern as we were voting.

	10:02am PMD: Yes, I used paper. I felt a little paranoid doing it, but felt better also.
	10:03am Cecile: LOL! The registrars were saying that the letters always go in runs - all the A-Ls with show up, then all the M-Z, but never the twain shall meet...
