The Sun City Girls ceased to be last year when the trio's Charles Gocher shuffled off this mortal coil, leaving behind brothers Alan and Rick Bishop and countless hours of amazing sounds through their decades of activity. The Bishops paid homage to Charlie this summer on a US tour which opened each night with a screening of some of their lost compadre's fantastic films, then, as the Brothers Unconnected, regaled crowds with two hours of acoustic Sun City Girls songs drawn from their entire 27-year history. Today, join Brian as he broadcasts the duo's June 22nd performance from NYC's Knitting Factory and say so long to Charlie and the Girls.
